And thanks for posting the obit. When someone dies so far from 'home', I'm always hoping the obit will help someone find their 'lost' relative.

I noticed on a public message that you were interested in the surname Whitehead.
I have a private tree on ancestry that that has several Whitehead names on it.
If you would like to view the tree email me and ancestry will send you the invitation. The line starts with William and Mary his wife their son William 1685.
Hope this is of some help, Fran
|Tim Miller||John Pugh Till Name Change|
Hi, I am from Maud, AL and my next door neighbor is the granddaughter of Lizzie Quillen Robertson Till who was the wife of John Pugh Till. On his entry his middle name is listed Puch and it appears to be a "C" on his marker but it actually a "G" and his middle name is Pugh for sure. It is on his death certificate as well as his WWI registration and my neighbor has verified that it is Pugh. I have made the correction but wanted to let you know why since it does look like a "c" on his marker in the picture on findagrave. Thanks...Tim Miller

I made the correction to her page. Thanks for letting me know. I appreciate that.
Thank you so much for taking the photos of the Solano family.

|Keith Malone||John Lumpkin Landrum, Sr|
I was curious how you came up with the birth place
Birth: Mar. 7, 1817
All the documents I have show him living his whole life in Oglethorpe County. I also have his father marrying Elizabeth Ann Young in 1807 in Oglethorpe County and he lived the rest of his life there. His father
John Lumpkin Landrum
My 3rd great grandfather
Birth 7 March 1786 in Orange, Orange, Virginia, USA
Death 1836 in Lexington, Oglethorpe, Georgia, USA
|Catherine Carter||Lilious O Whitehead|
Hi Ed....Lilious was my Great Great Grandfather. His son Dillard Oscar Whitehead (1900-1984 Miami, FL) was my Great Grandfather. Dillard's daughter Lilla Pearl was my grandmother (1923-2014, Newnan, Coweta County, GA). My mother Sandra Diane (1943 - lives in Newnan, Coweta County, GA). I can't seem to locate Lilious' family (his wife Lizzie Huff I have back to 1649).
