|I began working on our family genealogy in March 2009. It is amazing how much I am learning about America, again. Things I never retained in school have a more personal meaning to me now. I started it for my mom, but now I am hooked. :) Family surnames in my ancestry are Chambless/O'Mary/Beasley/Hallmark/Earnest/Hopper/Sim(m)s/Reddin/Trotter/Cranford.|
As time allows I will add obituaries from various local and non local papers. I am hoping to take a few photos over the Summer as well. I have no problem passing a memorial to you if you find I have one of your ancestors listed, unless it is one of my ancestors. :) God Bless.

I may be at the cemetery on Febuary 2. If there, I'll try to find his gravesite.

Yes, I am kin to the Earnest family a couple of ways, but as far a blood line my gggrandfather Jeptha Turner married Elizabeth Jane Earnest.
Their son Robert Rayford (Bud) TURNER
Their grandson Thomas Edward "Ed" TURNER
Their ggrandson Jesse Wilmar TURNER
Their gggranddaughter Anna Virginia "Snooks" TURNER Connell (my mother)
A couple of my great cousins also married into the Earnest family.
How are you kin to the Earnest?

You betcha! I'd be hard-pressed to find someone in this cemetery that I'm NOT related to. Robert B. Earnest and Susannah Cobb are my great-great-grandparents.

It's his wife Elsie Chambless born 1-8-1927. She's still living.
