Hi! I'm very interested in genealogy. I enjoying adding information to memorials, especially full names, dates, and links to family members. I try to add obituaries, when and if I have them. I am in the process of adding pictures, obituaries, and information to the Rogers, McCarron, Brown, Ruebenson, Ruebensam, and Galligan pages.|
I live in Kendall County, Illinois, and try to get out to local cemeteries to fulfill photo requests and make additions. It is exciting to find ancestors!
I am researching the following surnames on my side: Brown, Ruebenson/Ruebensam/Reabensame/Rebenson, Galligan, McCarron, McCarville, Hanxladen/Hanxleden, Krapf, Kizer, Vitraelli, D'Orazio, DiGarbo, DiFalco, Cicero, Gardos, Peterson, Harper, Riggs, Gullen/Gullin, Goldberger; and the following surnames on my fiancÚ's side: Morrison, Joyce, Rogers, McCoy, Myers, Tuntland. Ring, and Grover
***Feel free to utilize my photos for your personal use. When utilizing any of my photos, please give proper credit to myself (Melissa Brown) and Find A Grave. The following is an example citation: "Headstone: Full Name. Death year. Cemetery name, Cemetery city, cemetery state. Digital Image by Melissa Brown Findagrave.com Memorial #."
***I am happy to include and/or update information on any of the memorial pages that I maintain, including family links, obituaries, etc. I am also happy to transfer management to family members. If contacting me directly, please include Findagrave in the email subject.

|Alyssa Helen Behr||RE: Bernice Lawyer Rogers|
I've been searching my husbands great great grandmother Lillie Mae Lawyer family. There was this old photo of her with her younger bothers and sisters. The cutline says: "left to right...standing, Bernice Rogers, Harmon Lawyer, Lillie Lawyer Skelton, Fred Lawyer, Elva Boler, Iona Corneleous and Edna Landers. Kneeling: Carl Lawyer, Shelby Lawyer". So then I began doing searches on each of her siblings on RootWeb.com to find their birth and death dates. So then I stared to search Findagrave.com to find there grave stones.
I hope I found the correct Bernice Rogers.

Thanks again for the map for section 15 at Calvary. While driving to that location and while taking the photo there were several deer just 50 or 100 feet away. (not the coolest thing through, I saw an actual fox, no doubt about it, in section 21 a few days later.)

|runner9||Calvary: Section 15 Request|
Several of us are actively working to clear the 759 request at Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland. You have a request (or more) with plot information, however we don't have a map for that part of the section. With thousands of graves per section (400,000 total on 300 acres) a section map is basically required to find a grave.
The office at Calvary is very restrictive with information. If you could please call them at (216) 641-7575 and tell them you have a relative buried in the specific section and that you're coming when they're closed (weekend, holiday, etc) they should agree to mail you a plot map. If you get one please let me know and I'll give you my e-mail address.
Each time I go I have to skip the requests with plot info that I don't have a map for, yours is one of them.
