I don't know for sure but if you can't travel to Indianapolis or get them from the library, the same records are probably on microfilm via the LDS Church (index available on the LDS site

RE: Mary Reynolds 117298328
About Mary Reynolds. About 10 years ago I found a typed transcript, probably from the 1960's in the North Vernon Public Library (in the historical division). It was for that cemetery (St. Mary's I think is the name). My Conway family is buried there and I appreciated someone creating another transcript which I found in the Indiana State Library in the 1970's which helped me with my research.

I entered about 200+ plus names into from my typed transcript in order to give back a little. So, it is documented she is buried there but I don't really know anything about her beyond what I entered into the record.

I would recommend checking the Indiana State Library if you can - in the reading room, they have microfilmed records of the Archdicese of Indiana (southern division I think), which has the burial records of the church attached to this cemetery. I found causes of death and other information for a few of my records. Other parishes in Jennings County were also included.

Isaac Aton and Hannah Snelling
Do you have Isaac or Hannah's will or another document that states Sarah Ann and Emily Jane are their children?

My Emily Heaton's surname has been found in many variations: Akin, Aton, Eaton and Heaton. Two sons on their death certificates list her name as Eaton and one lists her name as Heaton. This is my proof of her surname.

I could very well say she was related to David's sister Mary Jane's husband William Heaton. I don't have proof for Isaac and Hannah Snelling Aton as her parents or a relation to William Heaton.

I would definitely welcome further conversation at my email address and would love to see any documentation you have to prove this theory!

RE: Sarah Ann Eaton Beaty
I don't know that Sarah Ann Eaton Beaty and Emily Jane Heaton Beaty have been proved to be sisters. My David married Emily and what happened to their family was very tragic in every sense. It was hard travels to Sharpsville, Tipton County back in the day traveling on Indian trails and the town held much swampland. It was the last county to be formed in Indiana if I remember correctly.
Sarah Ann Eaton Beaty married James Orville Beaty. James Darius and William H. stayed in Bartholomew County. You're welcome to email me at

Sarah Ann Eaton Beaty
Anyone who has the courtesy to ask to use a photo is more than welcome to do so. Sarah's husband James Orville was a brother to my ancestor David Beaty. There is a wonderful family photo in the Piercefield tree, weblink below. I'm afraid the old photos are hard to come by.

Happy Hunting!

The cemetery staff is great and usually very responsive. This mausoleum can be tricky to find crypts and also to photograph because the lighting is not great. I'm usually make them a little better with editing. Happy for a successful conclusion to your request! Have a great weekend.

Happy I could help you out. Sorry it took a little longer than usual. Never did hear back from the cemetery but was able to figure out the location with my own homemade maps :) Take care
