RE: Thank you!!
Hi Nancy. Thank you for your kind words. I enjoy transcribing and doing further research on the memorials I create.

I add information to the memorials I created from researching them further using ancestry.com and from information sent to me from other contributors (who are usually related to the person in the memorial, but I try and check out all information I am sent).

I did go to Canton Baptist awhile back and try and get a photo of the graves you requested. I was unable to locate them again at that time. I have had a lot of things going on since, but I will try and get back there soon. I have several requests and have put yours at the top of the list.

Nancy, in researching the artist of a painting which has been in our family for years, I found your posting regarding your grandfather. My grandfather, Oscar Agrell, owned and ran a violin shop in downtown Des Moines. During the depression, while your grandfather was teaching at Grandview, he contacted my grandfather, as he was in need of a violin. As he was short on cash, our grandfathers agreed to exchange a painting for a violin. That painting had always had a prominent place in my grandparents' home, and it now graces my living room. I, myself, am a retired art teacher, and the painting is among my prized possessions. Kaatharine "Kathy" Lowe

I have added Margaret's name to the bio I put on Hannah's memorial. I am unable to link Margaret to Hannah as Margaret is your memorial. You will be able to add add Hannah as her mother and John as her father though. Happy Thanksgiving to you also.

RE: Lillian Horn
Thank you so much for sharing the tender story of your grandmother's lifelong memory, and missing, of her baby sister. It's a precious memory to preserve in your family history.

RE: Many thanks
You're welcome - I just wish I could find the photo! I'm going to have to swing by West Denmark and retake it one of these days!

RE: Thank you so much!
You are very welcome! I'm so happy I could help you out. Messages like yours are exactly why I enjoy contributing to this site. I am going to transfer Petrea, Chris & his wife's memorials over to you, as they are your ancestors. Take care. -E.M.
