My name is David A. James I live in Jackson, Missouri and have been in Law enforcement for 31 Years. I started working on my family Genealogy a few weeks ago and came across Find a Grave. I felt this was a very worthwhile web site and decided to volunteer my time in helping others find the very same thing I was looking for, my heritage.

I wanted to be able to put my families past together for my children and grandchildren to enjoy.

I have helped the living victims of crime and fought for justice for the ones who did not live to tell about it. I have worked Homicides for 25 years and supervised Homicide Investigations as the Major Case Squad Commander and Deputy Squad Commander for Cape Girardeau and Bollinger County, Missouri for the last 13 years. I have always felt those of us who work Homicides are on a "Mission for God"

I have enjoyed walking the cemeteries and the feeling of helping families who can't be near their loved ones.
