Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is David A. James I live in Jackson, Missouri and have been in Law enforcement for 31 Years. I started working on my family Genealogy a few weeks ago and came across Find a Grave. I felt this was a very worthwhile web site and decided to volunteer my time in helping others find the very same thing I was looking for, my heritage.

I wanted to be able to put my families past together for my children and grandchildren to enjoy.

I have helped the living victims of crime and fought for justice for the ones who did not live to tell about it. I have worked Homicides for 25 years and supervised Homicide Investigations as the Major Case Squad Commander and Deputy Squad Commander for Cape Girardeau and Bollinger County, Missouri for the last 13 years. I have always felt those of us who work Homicides are on a "Mission for God"

I have enjoyed walking the cemeteries and the feeling of helping families who can't be near their loved ones.

Miller Cemetery
Hello, I'm researching my children's ancestry on their fathers side, Miller. I have found several at Kidwell Cemetery in Mo and just happened on to Miller cemetery at Millersvile, Mo. Do you have any info on John-Isaac and Henry buried there?
I also decided to return favors on find a grave and have been taking pics for several years. Thanks for any help.

Ruth Smith
Thank you
My name is Ruth Smith and I just felt like I needed to thank you for all the pictures you have taken - especially at Fairmount Cemetery here in Cape. I assigned myself the job of taking pictures of all the graves at Fairmount this year and just completed that task. In doing this, I ran across many that you had taken and you made my job easier. So again, thank you and I loved your bio with the connection to law enforcement.

I just read your message. I will check into it. Her certificate stated that cemetery. But there were a lot of errors with that certificate.

RE: Lucy Arbuckle
That's ok. I know how it is when you get busy and distracted. My son is in Law Enforcement too.

RE: Hollingshead Family Members
They are buried there. When we moved to CA. we moved to El Monte and we visited them a few times. He was a caretaker at a small airport. He had someone take me up! So exciting for a 16 year old.
