RE: ussery family lowndes co.
I have information about the Ussery family from the Genealogy and Local History column in the Commercial Dispatch ...if you would like the pages (7) I can fax or scan and email them or mail them to you...

You can contact me at sevenjester@yahoo.com

I apologize for my late reply...

I would be grateful. My grandmother was raised in the Ussery house near Caledonia in the 1890's, in part by her grandmother Frances Ussery Carothers and her gr., grandfather James Ussery. John & Malinda Ussery settled near Caledonia ca. 1820-ish.

Please send to j_christoffersen@yahoo.com

RE: Eura Florence Pullen
I am distantly related although I didn't know this side of the family. My mother was a Pullen and knew "Cousin Florence". The photo interests me because of a strong family resemblence between Mr. Pullen and my grandfather's brother Newt Pullen. Thank you very much.

Thanks Amy, I have added the article. I appreciate your sending it. I noticed that it happened in Mississippi City, my mother talked about having a friend there 60 years ago and I do not think Mississippi City is there any more. Thanks so much and please feel free to send any info you want added or request transfers. Thanks, Janine

Amy,just delving into the world of genealogy and looking at the tombstone of my 4th great grandfather when I saw the note you left. The lineage is his son Auguston, his son Thomas Ike, his son Grover & his son Guyles & my father Guyles. I noticed that Wiley Perry was born in South Carolina. Have you located any other information from there?

RE: James Westbrook
Hi Amy. we are leaving today for Lake Charles to spend Thanksgiving with grandchildren. When I get back I'll look at my Westbrook Family. If James is descended from whom I think he is, he belongs to my Westbrooks. I have them traced back thirteen generations to James Westbrook born 1635 in England. His dad was also James Westbrook, but his name is all I have on him.

I hope you and Family have a great and happy Thanksgiving.

James Henry Westbrook
Amy, I've made the transfer. I have a lot of info on the Westbrook family. My Grandmother James was a Westbrook, connected to the Lowndes County/ or South Carolina Westbrooks.

Amy, I'm sorry to be so long getting back with you. It's a small world indeed when we see how connected we all are. The first Westbrook I run into is my great grandmother - Sarah Catherine Westbrook born 1879 in Hinds Co., MS. She married Ancy Price James. Sarah Catherine's parents were William Washington Westbrook and Mary Catherine Long. Are they in your family tree? Thanks!

RE: william krieger
You're right William was married to Minnie Vogt. She had a brother named William as well. Ellsworth also had a sister named Gladys born in 1911. The only info(which isn't much) I have for the their children are as follows:

Virginia-b.abt 1920
Pearl-b.abt 1923
Bert-b.abt 1926

If you could send me info on Catherine and her immediate family I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks, Monica
