Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Mobile in 1930; moved to Stapleton, AL in 1936; graduated Baldwin Co. High School 1948, after which I spent 11 years in the Navy. I then became a chemist and had a satisying career, ending in Baton Rouge, where I retired in 1995 and still live. About 1990 I became interested in genealogy with the attending interest in cemeteries.

RE: John D. McDonald
His memorial has been updated. Note that memorial #7691629 suggests he is buried in Milwaukee. He died in Milwaukee where he went for surgery, he and his wife were living in Sarasota, FL at that time. Find A Grave does not offer the option to change the burial site of a "famous" person.
Thank you,

Thank you for the correction for Mrs. Hopkins' memorial. I added the name of her husband to the bio information and deleted the link to her grandson.

If Catherine is of any relation to you, I would be happy to transfer. I only created the memorial so that all would be remembered at Resurrection Mausoleum. I accepted the edits. Thanks for sending them my way!

Hi Ward,
Been reading your Find A Grave posts. Great pictures! I noticed something very curious for me. While you share the Sprague connection with my husband's NY/CT lines your other lines Clark, White, Rakestraw, Hunter appear in my lines! Looks like our crews are following the same migratory path.

Sprague Connection
Hi Ward,
Thanks for making the link to Philetus and Laura for me. We do appreciate your interest! Philetus and Laura are from two very old New England lines. Philetus was an early doctor.
Thanks again for your help!

Mr. Oliver,
My name is michael morgan and my question you know any of JOHN LEWIS CAINS descendants? I saw thAt you were the one that added his pictures to this site and felt like you would be the best one to ask. My reason for asking is , i have a friend who's grandfather was given a watch from Mr. John cain that had his name engraved on it FOR WINNING THE 1971 peach bowl ( ole miss ). My friend who has the watch told me he was thinking of selling it and i told him to hold off until i can find out if maybe one of his grandchildren or great grandchildren would be interested. Please let me know if you have any info. on this. I understand if they would not want to give out their info so i"ll leave you my number to give to them if need be. I too live in the baton rouge area.

RE: Fridell
My mother was a Fridell and I've done a lot of research on them. Let me know where you are in that line. My e-mail:

Sorry for this very late reply, I don't usually look on find-a-grave messages.
