What we've learned during our Find-A-Grave journey is that life is too short no matter how many years you get. Walking through a cemetery slows you down, makes you reflect on the mark you will leave behind.

Farris' birthyear on his tombstone is incorrect, it says 1923 but he was born 1925 April 25. Farris was in the US Navy . He enlisted in 1944 Feb 29. He married Nina H. who was born 1928, he and Nina married in 1946 January 28. Farris was discharged from the Navy in 1946 May 14. In 1952 and 1956 he lived in Sterling, Illinois.
