I retired from SBC telecommunications where I worked for 23 years. I was an Union Vice President of Communications Workers of America (CWA) Local 9509 for 12 of those years. My husband Tom died in 2002. We have five children David, Sharon, Daniel, Thom III, and Timothy and eight grandchildren. I am partially disabled from a stroke, but try to stay active. I am a dedicated to family history and love findagrave and how much I can learn from this site. Both my late Husband Tom and I were originally from Massillon, Ohio and we relocated to the San Diego, California area in 1968. I currently live in La Mesa, outside of San Diego.|

|Jason Walker||Your contributor number|
Nancy, Your contributor number has nothing to do with memorial numbers. Contributor numbers are completely independent of memorial numbers, so dont worry that your contributor number is the same as a memorial number, this is not an error, just a coincidence.
I deleted my duplicates that I created of your parents. Sorry, I did not think to tell you that you needed to log in first before you tried to edit something, I will try to remember that for the next person.
have you checked out this memorial?

If Virginia is a relative of yours, then you and I are some degree of cousins-in-law. Wilber was a second cousin of my great-grandmother, Anna (Meek) Wright, whose mother was Sarah Ashcraft. It would be great to fill in this part of the family tree.
I'll be glad to transfer any of your relatives to you.

Oh you're very welcome! :) Glad I could help.

Thanks for the note on Mary Williams Doolittle birth. She was born in 1787 not 1747. I made a typo. Thanks, Don Giddens, Greenville TX
|Law-Miller Roots||Herbert Howell @ Clymer Cemetery|
Thanks for the additional information. I've updated his memorial with the dates and locations you've kindly forwarded along to me.
|Susan Matthews||Mary Rinehart|
I made the correction on her dob.
If you would like I could transfer ownership of this memorial to you. If you so choose, just go to edit and send correction (like you just did). Ask for transfer and be sure to include your member ID # so I can transfer it.
|Lee Shade||Highland Park Cemetery request|
Lee's steps for Highland Park Photo requests:
1. You find out where they are buried—this is very easily done by going to http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~ohcdrt/clecems/00dexfind.html#hig You may find other helpful info there about your ancestor, as well.
2. Add this burial information to their memorial so it shows up on the photo request list.
3. Write, call or e-mail the cemetery office to confirm that a marker actually exists—about 60% of requests for this cemetery will have no marker. http://www.cleveland-oh.gov/CityofCleveland/Home/Government/CityAgencies/ParksRecreationandProperties/Cemeteries
4. Send me a message letting me know that this stone is now ready to be found and I will look for it, weather permitting. If you discover that there is no marker, please go to the request, choose "report problem" and from the drop down, "cemetery office confirms that no marker exists for this burial"
|Lee Shade||RE: your photo request|
Hillary S informs me that you can actually look up the Highland Park burial records at http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~ohcdrt/clecems/00dexfind.html#hig
I'm still asking people to call the cemetery office to confirm that there is actually a stone there, however. More than 60% of the requests I've checked out have not had stones, they will only look up a limited number for me at a time and the cemetery is enormous (over 130,000 burials) with a numbering system that at times defies logic.
