RE: Corning Cem
Super that you are doing the cems. Sooo helpful to so many. Are you from the Corning area? Love Central Dairy in Jeff City. Have been several times. Son worked for NBC station in Columbia but now for Veterans United as a Sr Loan Officer. Maybe we can meet on one if my visits there! Happy Sunday!

I just visited your partner's page...very nice! My sympathies for your loss, though. Do you live in Columbia? My son & family do! Thanks again for your help!

RE: nance memorial
Hi SCot. You are always so kind! I do recall the issue with Corning Cemetery a few years ago. I lost a lot of old family photos when that event took place. I also lost the tombstone photos that my hubby and I had taken when we visited his parents, grandparents, etc. in Corning Cem. I wrote the admin and got a few transferred back to me but the photos were lost. :( You are very kind to transfer Almedia 'Meta' to me. I appreciate that! You mentioned an obituary. Do you have it? I don't but surely would love to! We are in Houston TX now and don't get back now that hubby is ill and older. It was kind of you to offer to meet, however. I am in contact with Dan Harold (he and his Dad own the Hardware Store there). He is very nice and has helped me a lot with the Nance/Harold family. He has some lovely old photos, too. Thanks again for your kindness. It is appreciated!

Poplar Run Baptist Cemetery
Hello, Scot.
First, let me express my condolences at the loss of your love. I read your touching tribute to Mark and sense your pain. The sadness must be overwhelming, but I hope you are getting through.
Now, the reason I am writing: I found your name as a photo contributor in Poplar Run Baptist Cemetery near Elizaville, KY. I visited PRBC four years ago to photograph family headstones and decided then that it is my favorite of all the cemeteries I've visited. I will be going there again this summer, one day during the first half of August. I'm looking for a buddy to join me, as navigating PRBC can be challenging. I'm wondering if you live locally, but I'm afraid you may be in Arkansas...?
Let me know if you are interested in joining me for a photo shoot, and I'll make further plans for a convenient date.
I live in California, so this trip doesn't happen often enough for me. You can respond privately, if you'd like, to JosiePHQ293@aol.com.
I'll eagerly await any response.
Thanks!
JoEllen

Bobby Carrol Shipley
Dear Scot Thank you for such a quick reply.I know Bobbys mothers name is rosemary Shipley.I talked to her once just recently and she is a very kind and sweet lady.I know his grandfather lived in Corning and I believe his name was Fred.I also know that Bob instructed the local police dept.the art of self defence. This was in the late 1980s.His mother would be the one to talk to.One of his greatest passions in life was trying to make a difference in the war on Drugs! He was always there for anyone who had a problem. Also he was an excellent Realtor and a very good Computor tech.He helped out at Columbia Mo. University. He accomplished a lot in his too short of a life.I know it was Gods plan but I sure wish he was still here in the flesh.I feel him around me a lot and I talk to him. Thanks again for your compassion.
