One of my interests is photographing headstones in some local Burlington Co. cemeteries, trying to match them up with old cemetery records, adding headstone pictures to their FAG memorials and adding memorials when needed. If you are related to, or have an interest in any of my NJ memorials I am more than happy to transfer them to you. You may use any of my FAG photos for genealogy use.|
I can email instructions for you to search the Burl. Co. NJ Library online newspaper index for obits, marriage, birth, and deaths should you want to do that.
I have cemetery and parish records for Trinity Lutheran church in New Holland, Lancaster Co, PA. if you want me to do a look-up.
Researching the following Lancaster Co families: Christian Brimmer of New Holland; Stauffer of New Holland; Benjamin Franklin Weaver of Salisbury Twp; Jacob Haag of Lancaster city; and the Samuel Marsh and Richard Grist families of Philadelphia, PA.

Mortimer G (Gilbert) Buckley is the adopted son of Ida Maria Buckley and Roger S Buckley. Ida's maiden name is Gilbert, and Mortimer is the son of her brother George Gilbert. He passed away and the Buckley's adopted the youngest of 3 children. Mortimer also had a sister, Katherine, and a brother, George (my husband's grandfather).
Do you have any records of James A Grist, son of Robert Grist and Sarah Conn? The last I found him was on the 1923 city directory in Atlantic City.

Sorry, but I don't have any further information--I suggest you contact the cemetery and see what they can tell you. Good luck!

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. Had a wedding to plan and go on vacation. I got the death dates from the grave stones when I walked the cemetery.

I found his Philadelphia death certificate at familysearch.org, where I just found those of his wife and two of their children, all buried in the same cemetery.

The information for her parents was found on ancestry.com on a family tree. They had a page listed from a family bible. Here is a link to the tree: http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/67066503/family?fpid=36167288112 The owner of the tree is Robert Weaver from Pasedena, MD

You are right about the parents of Joseph and Magdalena Weaver. I knew who her parents were but neglected to link them.

You are welcome! We were there to find family on my paternal grandmother's side, so I took the list of requests for the cemetery and we tried to find all of them... did all but one. My husband and daughters were actually taking the pictures. It's family thing and they have learned what I think is important .. like whole stone, clean as much as possible to read, etc. Sometimes we even put a flower there for the picture too.

I was very happy to get them. The snow has finally all melted and the weather has been nice. Let me know if there are any others you would like. I don't live very far (walking distance) to the Syracuse Cemetery. Glad I could make your day.
