Bio and Links
Bio Photo I became interested in genealogy through my father William Orlin Campbell. I took over the family history records that he compiled for approximately 50 years upon his passing in February 2009. He dedicated most of his life's work to Charles Muir Campbell, but was passionate about geneaology in general. He contributed a good amount of his work to the LDS Church. Surnames of interest to me are Campbell, Wineman, Putty, Alderson, Valette, and Touvron.

Dear Mrs. Melissa Campbell,

Thank you for all your doing, have done, and shall do. It is well.

We may have Campbell kin-linkages.

I reside in the Greater NJ/NYC area.

We may have kin-linkages too, eh.
In New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, as well especially this one, Lab./Newfoundland Provinces, Canada. Those may well hold your Campbell- keys.

In my Campbells I am still looking for the Second Duke of Loudon. Our Fourth Duke, John Campbell you may have read about he was appointed Gov. of Virginia but never set a foot in the Colony. He arrived in what is NYC, NY now with his staff as he was Commander of all British Forces in N. America and was sent to capture the Cod Fishing /fort ( as I call that ) too. That fort has been reconstructed in East Coastal NS, Canada pretty well. *NOTE* If you never visited it , if i may suggest go near peak time or you will have what is called a half-staffing and pay the same entry pricing ..etc.. ( See I am of Flanders/Scot/Dutch Decent as we do squeeze those nickles..eh..) the 4th Duke of Loudon had visited our other Campbells in Massachusetts Colony/ PlyMoUTH Colony especially his cousin Rev. Campbell and they stayed close. I believe they were Masons as well many Campbells up in Nova Scotia and our cross/kin too.

In Scotland/England when I lived/studied I had the honor of being invited, being in in many libraries to do my research and projects.

In our Virginia Campbells many came from John , mentioned above as well many others of the bands in the clan as you know the Wars in Scotland we all were on both sides of things.. but family is thicker than any Government.

Please add me as a friend on Find A Grave now.

Regards,

Jonathan Robert De Mallie

PS: My Great Granddaddy in Ma. was A Dr. Campbell and his dad a Doctor too.
