I began my family research project with my father 10 years ago. He was a marvelous oral historian. Yet, we recognized the two fires that destroyed his parents' homes had also taken the pictures and records. I began contacting extended families trying to collect photographs that were lost to us. I have met some marvelous individuals over time that have shared pictures and memories, and I am grateful. After the death of my dad, I decided to continue the project and to that end, I now work primarily on my family surname. But with the wealth of information I have amassed, I am contributing to this website so that others, just like us, will have a tangible piece of family history.
If you find a memorial I have created for a member of your family, please request a transfer of management, I will be glad to do so. Should you see an error, need to link a family member, send me an edit request. | |

 | James Isaac Pyror Last month you asked me to change Isaac Pryor (1844-?) buried in Riverside in Denver to James Isaac Pryor and link him to his wife Marsha Moon. I'm not sure where you got this information? Are you related? The correct James Isaac Pryor (1849-1909)is buried in Oklahoma and he is the husband of Marsha not this Isaac Pryor unless there are markers for him in 2 different cemeteries which does happen. I had the change put in but re-checked it and have removed the change for now. The James in OK is 72010500 and how didn't you spot this before? Let me know what you do please as I'm curious now. | | | Deb Kent
 | Briscoe Photograph You're very welcome! Glad I could help. I was in Iowa on a genealogy research trip and needed headstone photos from that cemetery myself. So many folks here at findagrave have helped me out, that I wanted to help as well.. so jotted down the requests for the cemeteries I was visiting and got what I could in the time that I could.

 | James C & Clara H Archer I'm new to this site. You posted info on the Archers, who are my great-grandparents. I have photos of them, their siblings and parents...even their home...and have an embroidered hankie of Clara's.
Are you related to the Archers?
Thanks, MarileeAdded by Marilee on May 10, 2013 9:40 AM | | | Edward
 | V. Wade in Smith Cemetery Hi, I walked the old portion of this cemetery this afternoon. I did not fine any Wade(s). The cemetery is in a rural farming area and is still being used. Unfortunately, most of the older stones did not weather well (probably limestone) with many not readable. Also, a lot of the graves are marked by simple field stones with no markings. Perhaps there are cemetery records/maps somewhere from which the plot could be determined and a picture taken, however, when Sharon read all the stones in cemetery in 2003, there was no Wade to be found. (See http://www.interment.net/data/us/mo/phelps/smith/ ). Sorry, EdAdded by Edward on May 09, 2013 3:19 PM | | | Bert Higginbotham
