Originally from suburban Chicago, I now live in Pensacola, FL. I also spend much time in Sister Bay, WI (Door County). Ancestral names include: Thompson, Harrigan, Vanderveer, Van Nest, Van Arsdale(n), Beard, Brady, Herr, Shaub, Alspach, Porter et al. I have personal copies of "The Alspach Family, 1716-1967" by Cliford F. Alspach, as well as the "Genealogical Record of Rev. Hans Herr and His Lineal Descendants" 1994 edition (3rd Ed., w/ Corrections).

If you want original jpegs of a photo I have posted, just e-mail me. Any photos may be added to personal family trees...happy to help!

Thank you so much. We live in Iowa where David was born, so it would have been difficult to complete the research with out your help.

RE: Florentine Warnack
You are very welcome; I'm sorry I couldn't find it. There are 23 memorials for that cemetery, but there are only 5 stones in it. There is a HUGE wooded area (and I mean woods, not small trees and shrubs), and all I can figure is that a) either the other stones have been buried by the grass over time; or b) they have been swallowed up by the trees.

I hate when that happens ~ Hillcrest Cemetery in Onaway is in danger of that happening; there are a lot of very large clumps of wild lilac bushes, and already there are a dozen or so stones that are inaccessible because of the plants.
