|I enjoy being able to link family members or add obituaries and other information and welcome additional information or corrections for any memorials that I have recorded.|
I do extensive research with the local papers, and when I find an article that might help someone else I try to pass it on.
I try to be as thorough and correct as possible, while helping as many people possible to preserve and share the stories of those who have gone on before us.
If you find an error in anything I have posted, please let me know. As we all know, everyone makes mistakes from time to time.
I do not as a rule make transfers, unless it follows the Find A Grave guidelines, I will gladly make any connection, or corrections needed.

Thanks for moving him out of the bogus Richmond Cemetery cemetery, but really, he's buried at the Mount Zion in Richmond County. Click here. Rich.
|Rich Dohm||Mount Zion mixup ~|
Hello Marsha. I couldn't help but notice, you posted THIS memorial in a non-existent cemetery... there's no Mount Zion in Richmond. But I can point you to the right cemetery. You'll notice his obit refers to his service "at the Mount Zion Baptist Church where Reverend Melvin Shearin is Pastor." Rev. Shearin's name is on the sign at Mount Zion Church in Richmond County (far from Richmond City) which is HERE. And there's another memorial for your George Dameron there too, with a picture of his GRAVE. Anyway, if you want to, you can move your memorial to the correct cemetery quite easily (be logged in) using the Burial: [Edit] tool on your memorial. You want the Mount Zion in Downing, Richmond County, VA. No offense, just trying to be helpful.

Thank you for creating and processing updates for Mathews family memorials.
(the spelling of Mathews is very distinct as it pertains to the Bagby genealogy as is the use of Chapin)
thank you !

Hi, Marsha - Thank you so much for the correction to my grandfather's information (Tyler F. Dungan). Thank you also for the DAR info; I have plans to look into that further at some point. I am following up regarding a message I sent to your private email address, concerning my mom and info related to her on both her dad's (Tyler, above) page as well as her own. I would deeply appreciate it if you could get back in touch with me at my email address about this. Thank you again!
|Karen J. Cheek||Marjorie Dungan Read|
Hi, Marsha - I wanted to let you know that my great-aunt Marjorie was married to Charles Read. She is buried next to him in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The photo with her page shows the headstone with both names. Could you link her page to his? Thank you. - Karen Cheek
|Karen J. Cheek||Tyler Franklin Dungan/Dorothy Ann Dungan Jones|
Hello, Marsha - My mother, Dorothy Ann Dungan Jones passed away last week. I noted something incorrect on my maternal grandfather's page (Tyler Franklin Dungan): it lists that he died while working on a street car in Washington, DC. It should read that he was a street car conductor in Washington, DC and died in an accident when another street car crashed into his. Thank you for correcting this. - Karen Cheek
