I became fascinated with my family tree some 20+ back in highschool. Then put it aside. 1 1/2yrs ago I began my search again to get into DAR..I did it, in less than 6 months. All thanks to all the incredible information my Grandmother and Great Grandmother left behind. I'm fascinated in all branches of my family. I'm also very interested in helping others to seek out their family members. Everyone has a story. I am who I am today, thanks to all the people who came before me.|
Since taking on the Family Genealogy Tree, my Life has taken on a different direction. Right under my Feet my whole life I have been walking in The Foot Steps of my Ancestors. It's not about finding someone famous in your Tree. It's about How You Came To Be!

Thank you so much for sharing the pic of
Adeline and William Babcock, I found it on ancestry.com. They are my sister-in-law's great grandparents. She is the daughter of Glendon "Glen" Babcock Memorial# 22667921.
Enjoy the holidays!

Only info on the stone other than his name was:
May 26, 1844 (pretty sure it's 26....but 25 or 28 could be options)
AE 81 yrs (again, pretty sure its 81, but could be 31, 51).
I included the close-up to try to make it a bit more readable, buy you may have to download it into photoshop and play with contrasts to really make it pop.

That is fantastic, was Jame's grave marker near his wife's? How do the headstones look? I can't wait to visit this spring. Thanks - Pam
