I do a little of this and a little of that...|
If a man dwells on the past, then he robs the present. But if a man ignores the past, he may rob the future.
The seeds of our destiny are nurtured by the roots of our past.

You sent me a graphic bio to add to a memorial I have. Graphic bios are completely against the official Find a Grave rules. You can read the FAQ yourself. I found the story repulsive and disrespectful to this man's memory.

Sorry I have taken SO LONG to respond. WHICH cemetery are we talking about here, I have done many and can't find this person. I also had a major accident on the 8th which has me No Weight Bearing on a broken leg that I Just had hip surgery on in Feb. Hard to get to my computer and frustrating when I can't find the person. Please be patient with me.

I was moved by your write-up on the Confederate soldier buried in the Gray Village Cemetery. Has anyone done genealogical research to try to identify this John Doe? If so, I would be interested in knowing what they have found. If not, I'd like to give it a try. Feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you, Silvia Pettem

You are welcome and sorry not a very good photo to read the name and dates. But at least I found the grave site. I also posted her parents which was on the same monument. Her father you can't read at all.
