|Diane Winters||RE: Wesley Anderson|
Please know that you are in my prayers - I completely understand that you must spend your remaining time & energy on more important things. Therefore I've added this quest to my list for my next visit to North Wilkesboro which should be next summer. My last two visits have been concentrated on my Nance & Barnette lines to which many of my Anderson ancestors are extended from.
Thank you for all your time & efforts to get our Anderson family history down. Take good care and God bless you.
Great-granddaughter of Bessie Edith Anderson.

Those documents should show the date Wesley died - can you get a copy? The books of records are available at the courthouse. On my last visit, I was allowed to go into the vault and look at any of the books I wanted. They begin in about the mid-1800's and continue thru the 1900's. Since he was enumerated in the 1880 US census, and you believed he died in or before 1885, then the search can be limited to that time period which makes it relatively easy. They allowed me to photo copy any of the records I wanted and charged be about a dime a page. It may have gone up, but I believe access is still available AND, if you have a digital camera, you can snap digital photos of the documents as well.
In keeping with Find A Grave policy, by entering the information on the marker (which has no dates) I have fulfilled the published purpose of this website. However, if you can provide me with a primary source document to confirm your proposed death date, I will be glad to add it to this record.

I have your correction/update for the death year of Wesley Anderson - please send me a copy or the link to the primary source for this date.
Thank you so much.

I have a record stating that Samuel Anderson married Lucrecia Stanley. I don't have a way to show you anything about that or if it's true, because I don't have an ancestry.com account. Instead I asked someone, Find-A-Grave Contributor Remembrances, to help with my Anderson ancestors. He came up with Samuel being married to Lucrecia Stanley and his mother being Martha Ellis.

How do you know for sure that Martha Ellis is Samuel Anderson's wife? I have that Martha was Samuel's mother, and that Samuel's wife was Lucrecia Stanley.

What's her memorial number, Coy?
|Rich Kreiss||RE: Joshua Mitchell Johnson|
I've posted your links, Coy. In the future, please click on the "EDIT" button at the top of the memorial, then click the first link (Suggest a Correction, etc.) and post your changes. Then click "SEND". F-A-G will automatically send an email with the memorial numbers included. This is very quick and easy. Thanks!

Coy, I believe the date of death on the head stone is Jan 4,1964. At a quick glance, it does look like Jan 1, 1964. What do you think?
I do not live in the area. But I'm doing some Bauguess research for a friend. Also I have put the Brooks-Bauguess Cemetery on Find A Grave and would like some pics of this cemetery. Do you have the names of others in the cemetery?

Thanks for your E mail and sorry it took so long to get back with you. I have not found a Bauguess-Brooks Cemetery. If you do not know of one
I will add one
