Restlawn Memory Gardens
Hello. In 2012 you satisfied a photo request for me for Howard and Myrtle McGillivray in the Restlawn Memory Gardens. I was wondering if you have any contacts at that cemetery to find out if their daughter, LaVon McGillivrey Walker is also buried there. I have emailed with LaVon's daughter, who is in her upper 70's, and she thinks that her mom is in this same cemetery as her grandparents, but not sure. Because of her age, she is having some memory issues it appears. Thank you in advance for any leads or phone numbers that you may have. OZARKCHERYL

RE: Warren Dunagan
My sister-in-law, as I mentioned before, was the granddaughter of Sarah Ida Dunagan Ashley Rivers and was the sister of Warren and Luther Dunagan. Apparently Sarah had a bunch of family pictures and they passed down through the branches to my sister-in-law. My little brother has been scanning some of the pictures and emailing them to me. I am the family research maniac of the family and my little brother dabbles at it. He sends me stuff in hopes I will figure out more about it. :-] And, then I naturally go wild over searching the stuff out.
Anyway, he said this group picture was on a page with Luther on it. He said one picture had Luther on the back of it but it appears that it was possibly sent to, or given to Luther and did not mean that it was Luther?? The thought crossed my mind as well if the single pic I put on Luther's page is actually Warren? I have no clue myself.
Thanks for naming the people in the pic.
I never found any Gloria. Maybe she was born after the 1940 census?? Maybe that is why I did not see her pop up anywhere?
I am in no hurry. I am not going anywhere. I am retired and am on the computer a lot.

RE: Warren Dunagan
Hi again,
I know you are busy and I do not envy you moving! Hope it is going ok.
When you get time could you look at the picture I added to Warren's brother Luther's page. Luther and Warren are both linked to their parent's pages.
The picture is of Luther and Clara, or supposed to be, and I believe the two sailors in the picture are their nephews, Eugene and Laverne, who were Warren's sons, who had their picture taken while at home on leave or some such thing. I think the other boy in the pic may be their little brother Robert? The girl is surely Luther's daughter Mildred, right?

RE: Warren Dunagan
OK, thanks.
I just added a picture of Warren's brother Luther, to Luther's page. I am sure you will notice the strong resemblance.

RE: Warren Dunagan
I am working on my little brother's wife's tree. Warren's sister Sarah Ida was my sister-in-law's grandmother. I don't know if you noticed but I added a pic of Warren's parent's to their page and a pic of his Grandparent's to their page.
You don't happen to know where Warren's brother Ezekiel Thomas Dunagan, died 1980, got buried do you?

Thanks for the Gerald Lauderback photo from Restlawn. Is it OK with you if I post that photo to my Ancestry family tree?
I have been searching for his daughter Lisa's burial place, and see the inscription "Beloved Daughter" directly below his marker. I have created a new memorial for her and have posted a photo request. Thank you for helping me find her too!
