I enjoy doing my family genealogy. I am currently just working on adding my husband's and my family to Findagrave. If there is already a page for a family member of mine, I am happy to take over if the creator wants to transfer to me, and I am also willing to share my information for them to add. The most important thing is to have the information out there. I am trying to be thorough by adding a bio, links and pictures to as many of my memorials as I can. If anyone is looking at these memorials for help on their own genealogy I know how important it is to find complete and correct information. If I have entered something that you believe to be incorrect, please feel free to contact me.|

|Donald MacKechnie||James Cuthbertson|
Hi my name is Donald, and I've been looking for my great grandfathers brother James Cuthbertson and am glad to say I have now found him on the Find a Grave web site. It looks like he emigrated to Canada with his sister Jane Ann Matheson sometime after the 1911 Census was taken in Glasgow. Jane's husband Angus Matheson must have gone to Canada before the rest of his family. Angus Registered James Cuthbertson's death.
Burial at Mount Royal Cemetery
If you know anymore about James Cuthbertson's life in Canada I would love to add it to my tree. I now know he had at least 2 children Jane Cameron & William Cuthbertson.
Do you know what happened to them ?
If you want to know more about James and his family in Scotland , let me know and I will get as much info as I can.

I was thrilled to finally see the name on the stone match the name on the request.

Orin was my great-grandfather. His daughter Kathlyn is my Grandmother. Nice to meet another member of the extended family! What's the lineage between you and him?
|Charlotte Graves||RE: John Theobald|
I'm related to this person through marriage (distantly!) I was working on gen for my 2nd cousin's wife who is a Ridner. The line is: John Theobald's son William married Molly Matson. Their daughter Ina married John Franklin Ridner. I haven't found death information for Ina, which I would like. J Frank died in his 40's so she may have remarried. Their son John Monroe Ridner is her father. I'm not sure how that makes her and your husband related but surely some level of cousins! We are having a reunion in Nov and I should see her. I will definitely tell her there are some cousins out there for her! Let me know if you want any other info from this line, I'm happy to share what I have.

I did a quick check with the cemetery office just to be sure that they were all in the same grave, as I wondered about the empty space on the left side of this headstone.

I have added a photo of the area around the headstone for this lady. Her name is not on the stone. The names on the stone are her daughter Rosie, and her husband James Cuthbertson. I have added other photos to their memorials that I assume you will have transferred to yourself.
Interesting to note - that the date of death on the stone for Rosie sure looks like 1935, but the Drouin burial record for her is 1925 (the date on the memorial)

Mendenhall family all the way down to my great grandmother. Her parents lived in Kansas and Iowa, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, North Carolina and back to William Penn, in the 1680's in Pennsylvania. I have traced a number of Mendenhall lines. So any info you can provide is welcomed. I even like pictures of people. my email is email@example.com. I will post whatever you send my way. Thank you!
|shirleyw55||Mary Mendenhall Barnett|
She is of my Mendenhall line. So if your husband is related to Mary then he's related to me. Has he joined the Mendenhall Association? I can help you with that line back to the 1600's.
