|David Perle||Hyman Alexander|
Hi! I am about to upload pictures of Hyman Alexander's grave at Adas Israel's cemetery in Washington, DC. You you'll see, as you surely anticipated since it's from the 1890s, it's a very old monument and not the most readable. (It would have been easy for me to have missed it! Glad I didn't! :) I know that you wanted other monuments in the family plot to help with your family tree. There really weren't any others, but this shows that his wife was Lena and indicates their children Abe and Fannie, and I see that there's already another entry for Fannie registered here. I think that this monument is supposed to represent them all. You'll see a smaller stone in front of it, which is so weathered so that it literally doesn't say anything right now. I took a wider shot and you'll see smaller stones to the right, but I think those are for the next family's plot to the right.
Let me know if you'd like higher-resolution photos e-mailed to you! I'll get rid of these after a little while.
I contacted the ADAS cemetary for my fam members and emailed Glenn Eastwood. He was so nice and scanned in internment docs on them. And gave me tomb pics.
Hope it helps--Jeremy
