|Started doing geneology research for my wife's side of the family and got hooked. It's beginning to be an obsession. Researching Guimont, Durfee, Jensen, Medeiros, Jones and Courtney lines.|

No I'm sorry, it is a VA cemetery and as you can see even by there own description the office is not very helpful unless you are and can prove you are family. The cemetery office is all self-help Kiosks. They do have a small VA office for families to arrange for burials and such but won't help with general information. The only information on the stone and in the kiosk is the middle initial "E".
National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific
Cemetery notes and/or description:
Please be aware that the cemetery office will only help with photo/info requests made by family members. Volunteer photographers may be turned away if they do not have some evidence that a family member is requesting the grave photo. Phone: 808-532-3720

Yes, Block 3, Lot 01, Position 04.

I wasn't sure you would see the caption for the photo I uploaded. I did some research and couldn't find Eliza Jane Buchannan. However, the sexton at Spanish Fork Cemetery found her under the name Eliza Jane Buchannan Higginson. The dates and other things match, but if you think this is not the right one, let me know and I will keep searching....

I'm not sure what happened there, but,I almost missed it.I have seen small errors with S instead of Z or Y instead of I.
Glad I could help...at this cemetery they are avenues. Avenue 4, Lot 41, Grave 12

Yes it is very plain, very sad, I think it was because of the time of his death, December, very cold here.

this is a large cemetery with lots of flat stone areas and 3 mausoleums. If you call and get a section and lot, we can probably find it.

You are very welcome. King St. Cemetery is a small, very old, private cemetery owned by the Catholic Diocese of Honolulu and and the last burial was in the early 1900s. There are no plot numbers available. The best that I can tell you is that the grave of Bento Medeiros is located very near the rear fence on the left section of the cemetery. Aloha!

I posted a photo but it's not great. I have been to this cemetery before without issue but this time the woman in the office was not keen on the idea of me taking a photo. Luckily, a groundskeeper was in the office and encouraged her to allow it. Reluctantly she gave me the plot(GD 2918-4), as captioned on the photo. The groundskeeper ushered me to the grave. I took just one rushed photo. Between the unwelcoming woman in the office and a service underway nearby I felt indiscreet.
Edward is buried with Juanita. I will go back in the next week or so to try to get a better photo in which you can read the given names and dates.
