Thank you for the photo of her marker! It was a double stone with her husband Chester C Alexander. May I ask you also add the photo to his memorial? Findagrave frowns on me doing it since I did not take the original photo. Thank s again.
Thank you so much for taking the photo for my Uncle Wally's (Walter Colsten) page. It means a lot to my family here on the East Coast who were unable to travel for his burial. Much appreciated, and I do "pay it forward" by photographing here in VA. Thank you!!

Hi Dawn & Dave, Thank you very much for the great pictures of the graves of Charles and Mary Ramm Yurs and Frederick & Sophia Yurs. Very good photos. I also detected some snow. Will it ever be Spring? Barbara

Thanks so much for the great photos of Edward & Helen Tousignant, (my Uncle and Aunt) in the Bluff City cemetery near Elgin, Illinois. I know you had to brave the cold and snow to find and photograph their stone, and certainly I appreciate you for that. Thanks again, Larry Tousignant

Dear Dawn & Dave, Thank You, Thank You!!That is the plot of my grandparents and parents, sister and aunt & Uncle. Wonderful. You can see the picture I posted on William B. Shales grave site. This was before I became a member of Find A Grave and didn't take close ups. This is wonderful. We lived in Elgin until 1975 and one address was 681 McClure and across the street was a Schmidt family: Ed & wife, Jan and other children who were close to my cildren's ages. I am in Indiana now and we have snow, ice and nasty weather. Glad you were able to take pics. Much appreciated.

THANK YOU!!! Its wonderful to be able to see their headstone -- I wasn't expecting the photo until this spring -- even though it warmed up quite a bit last week.
My mother's maiden name was Schmidt so it made me smile when I saw your user ID. My understanding is Schmidt is the German equivalent of Smith sooo. However if you have any relation to Fort Wayne, Indiana let me know.

Hello, I am sorry to tell you that the picture is of the wrong Anna Shales. My Grandmother, Anna Belle Jayne Shales is buried iin Bluff City Cemetery along with her husband, William B.Shales and their two infants,Miriam and David and my Mother & father, Ada Shales & George w. Boe and their infant Georgia Ada Boe.I have not lived in Elgin in many years and the the pictures I took last time I visited the cemetery were not very good so I didn't enter them. Thanks anyway and please remove the picture.
