Bio and Links
Bio Photo I became interested in Findagrave after losing my mother in November, 2009. My oldest sister started working on our family tree and came across this site. I've been hooked ever since. I stay very busy nowdays but always find time to invest into posting and taking pics of grave sites. This site has allowed my sisters and I to connect with family we didn't even know existed.

Linking Grandparents
Thanks for your suggestion to link my grandparents, Harriet & Herbert Spinks, on the site. Until you made the suggestion I didn't know it could be done or how to do it. It provided me with a learning experience. Thank you! Your knowledge makes the site even better.

pictures at Arbor Vitae
Woops...I already took pictures today of the Holcomb's headstones and posted them before I saw the requests for photos this morning.
When I'm out at the cemetery I take lots of random pictures to create memorials. These two
happened to be in that group.
Hope this doesn't cause you any inconvenience.

Sponsorship of Robert O Fenske's Memorial
Thanks alot for the sponsorship. Most importantly, I'm so glad you linked our grandfather with the memorials you created on your side of the family. Hope our descendants are as thoughtful! In the meantime, atleast they have a readily availible media to learn something of their ancestors.

Thank you!
I'm sorry it has taken me so long to thank you for the photos of my grandparents gravesites, Herbert and Harriet Spinks - Madera, CA. I've had the hardest time getting a new password to log back on to the site. I really, really appreciate your effort and time.

Thank you again!

RE: Marie Foster #28763403
Hello and welcome to Findagrave!

I have transferred the requested memorial and I am sure Teresa will transfers Mr. Foster's as well, just ask if you haven't already.

I found the obit for Steven Foster and added a memorial for him then transferred him to you as well. As soon as the weather warms and snow is gone I will try to get out to the cemetery to get photos for you.

If there is anything else I can help you with please don't hesitate to ask.

Meeks in Madera
Hello Melissa,
Ronald and Alice Vivian Clark were married. Ronald passed away Jan 2006 and Alice in Nov 1995.
You asked if Gary was related to Ronald and Alice....yes they are. Gary's father is Samuel T. Meeks and mother was Buela Unknown. Samuel died in March of 1998 (Madera)and don't know when Buela died only that it was in Madera. Samuel and Buela had 3 children Charles, GARY, and Geneva Meeks. All of Madera. ALL the MEEKS that reside in Madera are related. My great grandparents were Ernest Alfred Meeks and Margaret Jane Seedall and they emigrated from England here to america in 1928 and settled in Madera. They are the only Meeks known to there in Madera. Ernest and Margaret had total of 7 children all born in Madera, California. One of their daughters Elizabeth Anne Meeks O'Neil is my grandmother and is still alive and there in Madera. All the Meeks that have passed on are all buried in the same place...Arbor Vitae Cemetery and I have photo's of all their markers. There are actually 1 or 2 of the Meeks that are buried over at the Catholic Cemetery.
If you could include with the photo what your mothers name was and any information you would share, I will put it into the family tree and will give you the link to where I have it published online.
Myself don't live in Madera but my mother and my children are there. I visit as often as I can though.
Was nice hearing from you and hope to hear from you again soon. If there is anything you'd like to know just ask and I'm happy to share.

You can email me direct to for furture correspondence.
