|I live in Corvallis, Oregon, however most of my family is from Minnesota and so a lot of my research is there. My Budd heritage is descended not from the John Budd of New Haven and Rye (NY), but from a German named Andres Budd who arrived in America in 1778. In addition to Budd, I am interested in the family named Denney/Denny, Harrington/Herrington, Mosher, Kuntz, and Dongoske/Dongoski. I have written short family histories for my Budd family, my Harrington family, and my Denney family. If you are connected to one of these feel free to contact me for a copy.|

Are you a descendant of her? I've been researching the Wagner line (Elsie's Mom)
Always happy to find other folks researching same branches.
I saw your photo request for Joseph and I believe he must be buried in East Maplewood (the new part). I have added all the graves @ West Maplewood that I could find and I didn't have any with the last name Budd. You might call Maplewood office (765-642-3714)and they will give you the burial location, if you add that to your photo request, I will try to find it for you (if we ever get some warm weather).
|Honoring our ancestors||RE: Joseph Charles Budd in Waveland|
sorry I can't help more. The information was from a Crawfordsville newspaper that my great grandmother had. It listed all the civil war veterans and their burial cemeteries. I have no way to know if they are correct or not as I live in Michigan.
Joseph Charles Budd in Waveland
Hello. Sorry for the longish message regarding the entry for my great uncle, number 17511091. Since he is my great uncle you graciously turned control over to me, so that among other things I could connect him to other members of the family. This means that if I followed your suggestion and used the "suggest a correction" link it would just come back to me! However recently another family member pointed out to me that his obit claims he is buried in the Maplewood cemetery, and not the Waveland cemetery. Since I'm way out here in Oregon I can't physically check up the situation on the ground. I'm hoping you might be able to shed some light. Did the original entry you made come from a physical inspection of the headstone? Or is there some other explanation I've missed (such as the two cemeterys are actually the same). Thanks for any help you might be able to provide!

I was in the area and tried to get your photo request. I did not find any markers with the last name Budd. All that were in the older section were Fousts and Kennedy and some Mclurg.

I uploaded a newer picture, and the caption below the picture lists what is on the tombstone.
I am not a relative but Dave Burnisky is and he is who asked for someone to take a picture of the tombstone.
