Female descendants of Carol Owens O'Dell Hunter
Hi. I am searching for female descendants of Carol Hunter for a DNA project. I am gathering women of matrilineal descent from Elizabeth and David McCracken, and Carol's daughters and granddaughters would qualify, if she had any. I read Bertrand Hunter's obit on his Find A Grave page, which you administer, which mentions two stepdaughters, Pamela and Virginia. Are these Carol's daughters?
Thank you,

Harriet Eldred
Victory cemetery was photographed in 2013 and filed. Harriet Eldred must be the first wife of Clark Eldred. He is in Huron Evergreen.
Cemetery memorial 30889352. Perhaps you have seen it already

RE: William Braithwaite
Hello Diane:

I checked my electronic database and I have a note under Wm. F. Braithewaite: "Died in Ohio - buried in Bloom City WI?". So I left a note to myself to check his burial location. Unfortunately, I left the note over 2 years ago. Still meaning to get back to it.

I have recorded in my database he died on 26 Jun 1865 in Fayette, Ohio. So I think the Bloom Cemetery may have come from a copy/paste error. I do have several Braithewaite's buried there…

I have another note "Wm. Braithwaite - widow applies for pension, 1826, 1838, in VA. Verify death date" I think I had my own confusion on the death date I had……I hope this was helpful.

I will update the Find-A-Grave memorial at minimum to remove the Bloom Cemetery.

Thank you,

Terry Martin Memorial Transfer
Hi Diane, I have entered the info you sent to me and have transferred this memorial to you as requested. Please tell me how you were able to get the plot number, section, etc. for Terry? For a long time, I have searched for a map of Twin Buttes that shows the location of all of the burials without success. I have created a rough sketch of the cemetery, based on my recollection, but it's not sufficient for my needs. I'd love to get my hands on a burial location map of this cemetery, and any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Kaitlyn

RE: Terry Walker-Twin Buttes
Ran into a problem...I could not find a Terry Walker in Twin Buttes...unless it is the marker with no first name and a death date of 1/7/1965. That memorial is managed by Jared Brown and only he can transfer it to you.

Betty Benton Wheeler
HI Diane,
I am helping a friend with her application to DAR. She is one of the grandchildren of Betty Benton Wheeler and Robert Clendening Patterson, whose marriage you have listed as 28 Sept 1911 in San marcos, you have any supporting documents on them? I am missing her birth certificate and their marriage certificate. I am happy to share with you what I have.
Thanks very much for what you do for Find-a-Grave.

RE: Fishers and Wheelers
You are welcome. I found the obit for Sterling Fisher, Jr:,505144&dq=sterling-wesley-fisher&hl=en

Google news archives is a great resource I have recently started using. Their link is:

Once the search box comes up, enter the name in the exact phrase box. I have found all kinds of information there from across the country.
