|Kevin Hooper||RE: Calling Hoopers or Robinsons|
My great great aunt is Eliza (Louisa) Robinson who was a Hooper before marrying Henry Louis Robinson. I would love to get in contact with the Robinson family that you have married into. I have very little information about Louisa's parents and history. Please feel free to email any addition information that you may have or anyone that I might be able to reach out to for more information. My great aunt Juanita (Hooper) Galbraith visited Arkansas several years ago and met some of the Robinson family but I did not find this out until recently. Thank you for your help.
Ok, I feel bad, because I know you sent a message about the book last year. Unfortunately, the book isn't in print anymore, but you're welcome to use any of the photos that I've posted. I've tried to add any photos that my mom had, to memorials, so they might all be on Findagrave. When I mentioned your request to my mom, she did say that she's corresponded with you before and that you helped contribute some info for her book.
My youngest sister was diagnosed with Non-Hodkins Lymphoma right around the same time that I was checking about the book, so it got put on the back shelf (and then forgotten).
I do have a few other photos of Lucinda when she was older, and a photo of Lucinda & Drury by their homestead in NM that I think also has her brother and his wife in it. Would they be your line?
My sister has been helping my mom organize her office, so if they come across any more Hawkins information, I'll be happy to share it with you.

I've been looking through my notes to see who emailed me to add the baby and link to Drew & Mary Hawkins. I checked my mom's records that a good majority of my information came from, and she too has the baby listed under Samuel and Sarah without the burial information. She would be disappointed in me that I didn't double check the info before adding first...
I've deleted the memorial, as I can't find the email and don't have any other documentation for it...
Thanks for pointing it out. My guess is that they meant Sarah & Samuel's baby, but without knowing for sure, we'll have to wait until it can be proven...

|Kevin Hooper||Calling Hoopers or Robinsons|
Do you have any family information on any living members of Eliza's family? According to my family records, she was my great grandfather's sister. Her parents would then be William Thomas Hooper and Margaret K. Hooper (Jarrett). They got married in Ripley County, Missouri in July of 1880. My family records also show Eliza as being named Louisa and married to Lewis with children: Frank, Charlie, John and Charity. Charity married a Martin. Another notable connection is that my great grandfather John E. Hooper married to Jennie O. Hooper (Smith) were married in Success, AR in 1909 and their first child Elzie May Hooper was born in 1910 and died just a little over one year later in 1911. Also Eliza and John's father William Thomas was listed on the 1880 census as living in the community of Little Black, AR which I assume is near the Black Cemetery. Do you have any information on Hoopers, Robinsons, or Martins in the area that are still living or buried nearby? I would appreciate any help or information that you can provide. Thank you so much.

Stella May Woods was a Burton. She had at least one sister, my grandmother Virgie Prim. I think she had another sister but it's been many years since I heard their names or researched them. Stella is the mother of Mason Woods, whom I met many years ago when he was in the service.
Are you Mason's daughter?

I was wondering....are you pretty certain that William is buried here in Tacoma? He's not at the Old Tacoma cemetery, Mountain View cemetery, or the New Tacoma Cemetery.

You're very welcome if you would like anything more just let me know.
