|Nela and Roberta||RE: Root|
I think I was successfull today. I found the grave for a "Wm T Root". (Where the Wm F Root was suppose to be.) He is buried in the Civil War section of the Mountain View Cemetery. The only other thing on the stone other than the name is "Co. C" "l Ill. Cav." I added him to the Mountain View cemetery and transfered ownership to you. Hope you don't mind.

Only record of a 1916 Root burial is William F Root. Date of Burial 8-1-1916. Is this still a possibility?
|svandee||RE: Thank you|
I would greatly appreciate that as Im pretty sure he's buried next to his wife, but its possible he doesnt have a stone but if you could also do me a huge favor as I believe that two of their children are buried there, Roscoe Nesmith 1873-1935 and Vinette "Nettie" Tilton died in March of 1923. I will be creating memorials for them soon but would love photos of headstones if you are in the area.. have a great week !

W. E. (Walter Edwin) Root was my great grandfather.
My Grandfather was Walter Edwin Root Sr.
Thank you again for posting the whole headstone on Jenny Nesmiths memorial, it looks like a really big headstone ! Sorry to ask so many questions but do you recall if there was writing on any of the other sides of the stone ? Sometimes I miss engravings on the other sides thats the only reason I ask, as I wonder if the husbands info was on another side. Thanks again for the great photos !
