I was born in southwestern Minnesota and now live in the Twin Cities. |
My wife introduced me to genealogy in 1998. Since then I've discovered a little Scottish in my otherwise Norwegian and German ancestry.
The cemeteries of Rock County, Minnesota (Maplewood, St. Catherine's Catholic and Memory Gardens also known as Restlawn Memorial Gardens, and Luverne Memorial Gardens) are of particular interest to me.
My goal is to keep families connected to their ancestors through Find A Grave. I will gladly transfer memorials to family members.
Please submit any additions or corrections to me under "EDIT" and "SUGGEST A CORRECTION" on the memorial site.

I have been a member of Find a Grave for years, and last night I just found that you had my Great Great Grandparents with photos listed. John Tulin and Ellen Swenson Tulin at the Blue Mound Luthern Cemetery in Rock County, Minnisota. They were from Sweeden! Could you transfer them to me by chance? Thank you so much for having the information listed, I had no idea where they were buried.

I believe his death date is 1 Nov. 1906. It's easy to confuse the 6 and 8.
|Dennis Harmsen||RE: Ida Meyer|
Again today I put in an edit request to correct the problem of getting Ida's two marriages in order, and again, it came up the same, no change.
I now put in an edit requests to remove all spouses from Ida's memorial, on John Schlapkohl memorial and on Albert Meyer memorial, which was not showing any spouses. Will wait for those edit requests to be processed, and after that, will resubmit the spouses links on Ida's memorial only. Can't believe the hassle in getting this straight.

|Stephani ||Charles Swenson Memorial Updates|
I've requested some updates to the Swenson Family memorials you've created. Most of them I did through the automatic edits tab, but I've got one more that I can't do without deleting my other requested edits. Can you please link Charles Swenson Jr, #55307861 to his father John Swenson #59116541? Thank you! This is my great Aunt's parents and grandparents! You've helped us fill in some blanks by having created these memorials. Thank you! Thank you!

Thank you for the quick response to my suggestion. We can only go by the information we have and you did a great job. Your work is, and will be, greatly appreciated.

Thank you - you are quick!
Just a quick note to say THANK YOU for all the work you have done on findagrave. Not only have you added the memorials, but you have also put in a lot of time and work for each memorial. It is easy to list and individual, but then to research them and link them to the family takes time. Adding headstone photos is no easy task. It is a lot of time and hard work in the sun on your hands and knees, with care and patience. Keep up the work, you are doing a great job. Many may not thank you, but your work is great appreciated by many more than you will ever know. FANTASTIC JOB!!
