Hello,my name is Jennifer Blackmon, we are working on our family tree. My husband is the son of he late Jimmy Tyone Blackmon who is the some of Walter Lee Blackmon Jr., and so on. We live in Kentucky and my husbands mother and Jimmy were only married about 6 years then he returned from Kentucky where whe was stationed in he military back to alabama/mississippi. We did not know much about the blackmon side of he family. We are thrilled that we have found that you have done so much work. I notice though the the children (three) are not listed on the obit of Walter Blackmon Jr. who is my husbands grandfater. I have all that information if you can add it on there. Also, Jimmy Blackmon (my father in law) Walter Jr. Son passed away in 2012. We have his cremated remains at our home in Kentucky, and would love to be able to get him a marker and bring him home to Mississippi wih the res of the Blackmons. Do you know if there are any openings at the Blackmon cemetary? Hoping to hear from you soon.
Thanks Jennifer & Michael Blackmon
|Little Lady||Jessie T. Dale headstone request|
I am pretty sure his last name is spelled Dale. I got my information from a database Mrs. Sarah Mozingo added online before she passed in 2003. She went to every cemetery within the county and documented all graves. So she had Dale written down for the last name on the site. I plan to go to the cemetery soon, so I will make sure the spelling for you, but I am 99.9% certain it is Dale. But do note that the Dails and Dales are probably the same family. Many families spelled their names differently. So adding a letter and some not. It does make it difficult for family history hunters, but the hunt is really what makes this so much fun. :)
Are you part of the Hinds County, MS Gaddis family? Robert Abney

Thank you very much for posting that Ms. Price has passed away. I hated to read it. Another
great Find A Grave recorder is gone.
I was trying to contact her to have my grandfather transferred to me.
Do you know? ..........What will happen now to
the memorials she was managing?
You can contact me...firstname.lastname@example.org
thank you again.

do you happen to have a list of people who you invite to the family reunions? Is any of your family in contact with any of the Clayton families?
I never did hear how the reunion went and when is the next one? I have a few questions for you. When would be a good time to call? please email me at email@example.com.

The Sallie Dail Mosley I was referring to has her last name (as an error) as Deal right now, but I have sent in a request for it to be changed to Dail. Have a nice day. :)
