Permission to Use Bio of Geo G Fourre
Hi Kevin, I trust it is okay to borrow your summary of George Gardner Fourre's Civil War Military Service for the Fourre-Wyman Line family tree at Ancestry. Let me know if you would rather I not use it. -- John M. Allinger

Kevin, I believe this is the same Shannon that my Grand Father says he fought next to at Bouresches. He was next to a (Spike) Shannon when Shannon was hit. My Grandfather (George W. Ruth) helped him back to the trees and called for the meds before he had to get back in position. Grandpa seemed to think he was hit about seven times in the leg, but with all the blood and the fractured leg it probably just looked that way. Anyway, thanks Kevin for the details about Shannon.

Yes, he is my grandmotheers nephew. I only know where he is buried. I have no other information.

Hi Kevin-I am wondering if your book about Belleau Wood is completed? I would be interested in purchasing it when ready!

RE: Pvt. Harry A. Jones
Kevin,

I posted Harry Jones' tombstone for you. The stone is very worn due to the years...
