Happy to help. That was the oldest requested grave that I've ever actually been able to find and read the stone! His marker is next to James Douglas and Rosanah Douglas, don't know if they were his parents or what. They had no photos of their stones, so I've added them also, in case you would like them.

Linda, my name is Elizabeth, I noticed you posted that Albert was your great uncle. He was my grandfather. My father was Portus Phillip Douglas which was Albert's youngest son.

I retook the photo today. Here is what it says:In memory of Joseph B. Malone who was born July 14th 1834 and died August 18th 1841 aged 15 years 7 months and 4 days. I could not read the rest. This once loved and born to ...?? It was too faded to read.

Would you like this memorial transferred to you?
Please email me privately, as I have discovered several other Dakin "cousins" also.

Hi Linda -
I see you posted info on the Gaethje family. This is my husband's family. Are you also related to them? If so, message me - I'd like to correspond with you. Thanks for your time.

Hi Linda, I posted photos for Albert Douglas as you requested. I also posted all of the Douglas headstones that were not already on Find-a-Grave. Let me know if you need anything else!
