| Bio and Links | I was born and raised in Mobile, AL. Most of my forefathers families have been in the Mobile and Gulf Coast area since the 1700's and early 1800's. Family surnames are Baptiste, Jacob, Turner, Denny, Rolls, Davis, Alexander, Collins, Ellsworth, Carter, Sigler, and Pelham. I also have Canadian & Irish roots of Church, McKnight, Lennox; and Michigan roots of Eckler and Goodrich.
I have had volunteer's transfer memorials to me if they were related by marriage to my family. If you are closely related to a person(s) that I have, please contact me. Are you related to this Collins line? I have lots of information on Jacob's descendants and am working on his ancestors.

You're welcome, Jan! You probably already know that a bunch of Fields, Lymans, Betts and Davises are buried together in this section, E-14. Sarah A. Field Betts and Sarah E. Lyman Field also don't have headstones. I think you might manage their memorials, too, and so might want to add "no headstone" to those as well. Finally, if you don't already know about about this, check out City of Boulder Parks & Recreation and Boulder Genealogical Society's on-line records for everybody buried in Columbia Cemetery. They've done an incredible job of mapping and researching, it's quite a resource:

Hi Jan,
I just transferred Clarence and his mother Kate to you (I did link them together). You mentioned you had not been able to find Kate's husband William yet. I noticed something interesting in my records. William is not listed on the cemetery website but there is an empty space right next to Kate, she is in Commemoration Lot 2889 Space 1, and the cemetery doesn't list anyone in 2889 Space 2. It might be worth your while to call the cemetery and make an inquiry, I have found they have most people listed on the website, but not all. | | | Karen Darwin Robert

Buried in Riverside Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant MI
His Find A Grave #74576226
Her Find A Grave #84607003
Riverside Cemetery burial records do show they are both buried there and gives their plot locations. My feeling is I need to copy all your info to mine and then you can delete your page for them in Chippewa Twp Cemetery.
