I have always been interested in history, and family history specifically. This site has been a wonderful resource for filling in many blanks in my records. Hopefully, by entering bits of information I find along the way I can do the same for someone else... Please let me know if you have any additions or corrections and I will make the necessary changes, or if I have added someone you feel you could give clearer information on, please let me know and I will be happy to make the transfer. | |

 | Correction to my last message The old Ellsworth Cemetery is located on the southwest side of Ellsworth. It is now known as Ellsworth Cemetery. The new cemetery is known as Ellsworth Memorial Cemetery. | | | Richard Neuschafer
 | Henry & Johanna Neuschafer Not sure I ever responded to this. I started a new job and that turned my life upside down for a while. The Ellsworth cemeteries are across town from each other. It's because the old cemetery is in a bad place. It's on the northeast part of town on the wrong side of the river. It floods there. So, the new cemetery was created on the east side of town and on the other side of the river. | | | Richard Neuschafer
 | RE: Henry & Johanna Neuschafer All of your husbands grandmother's siblings that are buried in Ellsworth are at the old cemetery except for George. George is buried at the new cemetery.
I would be willing to maintain those memorials except for Antonia's as you wish. I'll leave that up to you. I'm Henry's grandson. | | | Richard Neuschafer
 | RE: Henry & Johanna Neuschafer Yes, there are at least 2 cemeteries in Ellsworth. The "old" cemetery is located southwest of Ellsworth. It became full and there was no way to expand it. So, a new cemetery was created on the northeast side of Ellsworth. So, there are some members buried in the old cemetery and others in the new cemetery. I'll let you know who was buried in each on the Neuschafer side of the family.
Someone else has created memorials for Heinrich (Henry) and Johanna Neuschafer in the old cemetery. A memorial has also been created for William Neuschafer (their son who never married). For those you could probably just add the pictures that you have of them to the memorials that have been created. | | | Deborah Fowler-Snyder

 | Transfer Hello, If Ida Fowler White, Memorial# 48438806, isn't related to you, may I please request a transfer? She is my great aunt and I already have enter a lot of the other family. | | | Richard Neuschafer
 | Henry & Johanna Neuschafer I see that there are memorials set up for (Heinrich) "Henry" and Johanna (Honomichl) Neuschafer at the new Ellsworth cemetery. They were actually buried at the old Ellsworth cemetery. Memorials have been created for them at the old cemetery. The numbers are Heinrich (Henry) - #85139116, Johanna - #85139139. | | | Debbie Siemsen Volavka
 | Arnost Doubrava I linked Arnost to his mother. Do you know if his parents were married? Sophia has a daughter Georgiana. Is she also Frank's daughter? Debbie | | | Debbie Siemsen Volavka
