I was born Christina Noel Nelson in Centralia, WA in 1965. My parents Nile B. Nelson and Sandra L. Nelson (Sticklin). Owned and operated the "Sticklin" Greenwood Memorial Park cemetery at the time, my grandparents and great grandparents before them beginning in 1918 ... strange to some but the cemetery was home to me. My Great-Great Grandfather L.J. Sticklin was a pioneer who moved to the area in 1890, the Swedish cabinet maker who also made coffins (not uncommon at the time). 6 generations of Sticklin decendents are buried at Greenwood Memorial Park along with many others so I've started a support group on facebook to help with the cemeteries preservation. Volunteer events both past and future along with helpful information is posted online ... a link to this site is on my profile page along with an e-mail.
This group exists to help family's in finding POSITIVE ways to ensure the care, upkeep and preservation of Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery.
