|I live near Richwood, Ohio and would be willing to get pictures for anyone in this area as soon as the weather permits. My family is from the Kentucky, Tennessee, and Virginia tri-state area and I have some photos from those areas as well.|

do you want me to go buy those other pictures that were all found in the same group? If so, I will do so tomorrow while out. AFter that, I won't be in that vicinity for a while -- It's all the way on the other side of Charlotte and into the neighboring county! But if you want the pictures, I will be glad to make the trip tomorrow. If so could you text me at 980-875-7358, or call me on that number before 11:00 a.m.?
The other pictures did not have names on them but the owner said they were all from the same "batch" and probably belonged to the same family
These two pictures were $2 each and I can probably talk her into $2o r less per picture. I guesstimate 7-8 more pictures.
Then mailing costs?
I love to rescue ancestors for people!
Glad I found a descendant. She was a pretty young girl -- with her dark thick hair in a pompadour,pulled back with a big bow. A high neck white blouse. A beautiful "pocketwatch" pinned to her blouse and a locket around her neck.
Was there a Gaston Church in the area at some point?

I rescued a picture today in Charlotte NC of a
Zella Edna Peters, taken when 14years old. Don't know if this is the same as in this cemetery.
The professional photo was taken in Van Wert Ohio .
If you know family, there were others at the antique store that came from the same "batch" that could be rescued.
I also rescued from that batch a picture of a Reverend Rommel of Gaston Church. I'm not good at guessing time periods from clothing, etc.-- but maybe 1870-90?

It's a very good question. I for the longest had William T. Jones. All four census records I have list him simply as William Jones. Both Death Records that I have do state William T. Jones. The tombstone says W.M. Jones as you know. I also know that I did get the Melton from somewhere, but don't have all my records with me. His Grandson (The brother of my Grandmother is William Melton Creekmore, however; my Great Uncle William Melton Creekmore [& My Grandmother] Also have a grandfather named William Melton Creekmore (1870-1908) who was married to Louvicy Jane Cox. So the name of my Great Uncle could obviously have come from the Creekmore side of the family. I am more inclined to think that William T. Jones is correct and would love to know what the T. stands for.
Also on the only 2 census records I find her in & on both death records "Permelie Lee Oliver" is listed as Permelia Lee Oliver which makes more sense than essentially PermaLEE LEE Oliver. I think the headstones may be inaccurate, and then people get information from them, and pass it around. I have some ideas, I'll have to look into first, do you know if there is someone still upkeeping the cemetery or archiving records there?
Also I just gave a quick review of records and will need to look much further into it myself. The only record I have of any kind regarding Ambrose & Elizabeth is on the death certificate you mentioned. I've found no other record, including records of Moses B. I did just look over some family trees just for reference and found a Moses Bennett Jones Married to an Elizabeth Meadors, I have no siblings for William Jones so I wouldn't know where to look as of yet for if Margaret married a brother of William's. I will have to look into it further. Are you saying you don't know the spouse, your 2nd Great GrandFather's name as of yet? Also can you guide me to any records of Moses B. Jones & Margaret Peggy Meadors? It does seem we would be kin though doesn't it. I look forward to hearing from you & again thank you for all the work on the memorial ~~

|Gone But Not Forgotten||Reed / Lockhart|
There are a few Lockhart in the cemetery. I will do by best in the next few days to enter the few Lockhart and tons of Reeds that are listed. If you find any are your relatives after I enter them, just let me know.
|Gone But Not Forgotten||75 Reed's|
Just thought I'd mention there are 75 Reed's listed at the cemetery.
|Gone But Not Forgotten||RE: Reed|
Hi, I checked and the cemetery records I do not see either Ida or Emma Reed. Is Reed their maiden names and do you have a married name, or possibly thier husband's names?
|Gone But Not Forgotten||Ida Mae Blakley|
I'll be happy to add any information or links which you send through the exit tab.
|Denny Roach||Elihu Howard Family|
Thanks for creating and linking the entire family of Elihu Howard, this really helped to verify the final locations to help those researching the Howard family.
