I have been working on genealogy for myself and others for 30 years. I specialize in Richmond, Anson, Montgomery, and Cleveland County, NC, and Horry County, SC. Because of circumstances I WILL ONLY AGREE TO TAKE PHOTOS IN RICHMOND COUNTY, NC. |
Please use the edit tab to send me corrections, mistakes, or additions to the memorials.
I hope to upload all the photos I have taken in various cemeteries in other counties over the years. I have been doing this for 2 or 3 years for people who asked, but not on the Find a Grave site.
My family genealogy includes Allen, Thomas, Sinclair, Blackwood, Cabaniss, Elliott, Fortune, Gold, Haas, Mintz, Johnson, Hill, Bundy, Lassiter, Ward, Jenerette.
The photo is my grandfather in his WWI uniform.
Please send me corrections and updates through the edit tab on the memorial page.

I'm working on a volume of grave locations for veterans of Co. L, 22nd NC Infantry. Could I have your permission to use the picture you posted of Moses Harris Russell's grave in this compilation? I will cite you as the source.

Hi Sandy, you've posted two photos to Benjamin H. Covington's memorial (#57663108)which are identical, would you mind removing one? Thanks.

I submitted an EDIT for his bio with a brief summary of his fatal crash. Did you get it?

Oh. I didn't notice you created his Memorial. I would like any family to see it. I think I have posted everything that I have found out in the photos and captions. I created a Virtual cemetery for the 4 airmen. I don't how that works but can you see that from Capps memorial page? If not, go to my Profile and look at: Training Accident - Lexington, MS - June 23, 1944. I have more details on the survivor but someone told me not to put negative info on FindaGrave. I just feel like he was the one who caused the fatal collision based upon what later happened to him. I don't think I have anything else on Capps. I can summarize the news article and send it to you.
|Steve Cole||RE: Clyde Capps 98186099|
I posted photos on Clyde Capps site but I don't recall if I sent a suggestion for changes to the text. I can't change it---the owner of his grave has to approve or make any changes. I created a Virtual Cemetery for the 4 airmen who were involved in the accident. The lone survivor was eventually dishonorable discharged from the Army because of a stunt he did 4 months later.
|Steve Cole||Clyde Capps - Rockingham|
I uploaded a photo of this WW2 Veteran and some news articles about his death. I also submitted an edit but I may want to add or modify it, if I can.
Did you ever have any luck finding the Davis Cemetery in Rockingham?

I run into the spelling differences quite often.

First I want to thank you for taking the time to photograph a grave for me. However, I believe this is the father's stone since he served in WWII. My memorial is for John born in 1952. Please check and let me know if you add a memorial for the father(?).

I am not sure where either is located. I have never actually been there myself.
