Bio Photo We are volunteers assisting at Grand View Memorial Park in Glendale, CA.

You can read about some of the history and challenges at Grand View at

Initial records available for upload to FindAGrave contained only names and plot locations. We continue to work on updating birth/death dates for Grandview entries based on inquiries, photo requests, and ongoing research. We believe >99% of all Grand View interments have been added.

We are more than happy to update information or transfer pages to direct family members once we can confirm we have the person correctly identified. Since the original list we used to upload did not have birth/death dates, we will only transfer once those dates have been confirmed. If you are requesting transfer of a page that has not yet been updated, please provide the dates you believe are correct with your request. We will then be able to cross-check it against Lot Sheets for interment date consistency, as well as other online records.

To provide information or request a transfer, please use the "Suggest A Correction (SAC)" link, located on the Edit Tab (upper right corner) of the page in question.

NOTE: By using the new tools to add or edit information for the following items will ensure faster edits!

* Birth/death date, birth/death place
* Relationship (parent and spouse links)
* Name

Using the "Suggest other Corrections" option will send a message to our email that includes links to both the memorial page as well as your Contributor ID so we'll be sure to update or transfer the correct page. Don't forget to specify your relationship.

In fairness to those who may have closer ties to a memorial, transfer requests for pages that are outside FAQ Guidelines for required transfers will be considered on an individual basis.

RE: Mabel Brown - declined edit
My Mabel Brown's spouse was Arthur Ethbert Brown not George Brown. So the Chapel of the Pines is not my Mabel Brown's burial place either!

RE: Ida Lieurance @ Grandview
Thanks so much, but not her mother as I know who her parents are and where buried, and can't be a daughter of Ida as this is her maiden name so a daughter would have her dads surname. Again thank you for checking for me.

Emma Rendleman
I believe that Emma S. Rendleman #47546293 buried at Grand View may very well be the mother of silent actress Agnes Ayres.

RE: Erick Wilhelm Johanson
Since I am a volunteer on findagrave as well I went to change his information a little on his page and I saw that you have already changed something things. Thank you. For some reason it wouldn't let me alter anything so I did want you to know that his mother's name was Ingeborg (with and "I" not and "E") her last name is a bit of confusion and is my focus lately) according to her daughter Serine Anderson's (buried at the Union Cushing Cemetery in Minnesota) death certificate Ingeborg's maiden name is Olsdatter-Ettestel. (Although I have seen documents with her last name being just Ettestel (with various spellings) just thought I would put it out there, hopefully you can make the corrections on the page since it for some reason wouldn't let me. And again like I had said many of the children changed the spelling to Johnson for some reason. But Erick was definitely born "Johanson". Thanks again!
