Bio Photo We are volunteers assisting at Grand View Memorial Park in Glendale, CA.

You can read about some of the history and challenges at Grand View at

Initial records available for upload to FindAGrave contained only names and plot locations. We continue to work on updating birth/death dates for Grandview entries based on inquiries, photo requests, and ongoing research. We believe >99% of all Grand View interments have been added.

We are more than happy to update information or transfer pages to direct family members once we can confirm we have the person correctly identified. Since the original list we used to upload did not have birth/death dates, we will only transfer once those dates have been confirmed. If you are requesting transfer of a page that has not yet been updated, please provide the dates you believe are correct with your request. We will then be able to cross-check it against Lot Sheets for interment date consistency, as well as other online records.

To provide information or request a transfer, please use the "Suggest A Correction (SAC)" link, located on the Edit Tab (upper right corner) of the page in question.

NOTE: By using the new tools to add or edit information for the following items will ensure faster edits!

* Birth/death date, birth/death place
* Relationship (parent and spouse links)
* Name

Using the "Suggest other Corrections" option will send a message to our email that includes links to both the memorial page as well as your Contributor ID so we'll be sure to update or transfer the correct page. Don't forget to specify your relationship.

In fairness to those who may have closer ties to a memorial, transfer requests for pages that are outside FAQ Guidelines for required transfers will be considered on an individual basis.

Alva Lenora Scott
I believe the memorial you have created (47577951) for Alva Lenora Scott was incorrectly transcribed and should read Alta Lenora Scott. Her husband Alvin Scott 47547952 is buried in the adjoining grave. She is the daughter of Eleanor Ketcham Ayers Shurtliff 20336702 and David Ayers 76221039, and sister to Corrington Gabot Ayers 23582642. Alta and Alvin were my great great aunt and uncle. I would sincerely appreciate it if you would transfer responsibility for their memorials to me

Thank you for the prompt update. I don't know who he was but he was not the one that I seek to locate. This was helpful as, for my research, this one is eliminated, but he may be the one another researcher is seeking.

RE: George Wooster @ Grandview
Thank you for correcting that and letting me know. I'm now in a quandary as I can't find where George V Wooster and wife Adeline Matson Wooster are interred. In the 1940 Federal Census they were both living in San Gabriel, Los Angeles County but I don't know when she died and I can't find them on Find A Grave. Frustrating! Thanks again for your help.
