I have been researching my family and their history since the late 1960s. Researching my family history started as an adventure when out of state relatives would visit and tell stories of their childhood adventures. Now with the advancements made with the internet, researching has become an almost daily obsession.|
I encourage the use of any photo I have posted. Just give credit where you obtained them. I feel it is very important to get these old photos out there to other family and friends of family. There will come a day when these old cemeteries will no longer be there, either reclaimed by nature or bulldozed over for a new shopping center or parking lot or perhaps the worst of all, vandalized beyond recognition. And then the only reminder we will have that one of our ancestors had passed this way, will be a photo of that grave marker thanks to a finagrave photo volunteer.
My family lines I'm working on right now are the following:
Paternal: Dawson, Wagner, West, Watkins, McKeever.
Maternal: Martin, Bradley, Humphrey, Delano (including Delanoy, Delaney, Dellanois and all other variants).
My husbands lines have taken a backseat for a couple of years but they are: Patterson, Stage, Liddell, and Graham. All coming from England and Scotland and settling in Canada and then moving to Santa Monica, California.
I create these memorials as a tribute to those who are no longer here.

I was wondering if you know where the parents of Charles Storm Humphrey are buried. I know where all his grandparents are. They are all in Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery in Hopewell Jct, NY.
Thank you for the wonderful postings and pictures.

I did find a Bettie M. McClary marker with the same birthday, and death year information that was shown at the Campground. The marker was at Oakland Memorial Cemetery in Terrell, Kaufman County. If you go to Findagrave.com and it is under
Bettie M. McClary. I did notify Sharon Carroll who put the information on the other site about this and I believe it should be transferred.
