Memorial: 154492221
Hello, I just found your addition to Virgil D Keaton Family memorial.
His child Carl F Keaton is a half sibling to Ida. Carl's Mother is Alice Bruce Keaton.
Carl has two other siblings:
Earl Sutcliffe Keaton buried at Crown Hill Cemetery June 28, 1938, He has a memorial there but I didn't mark his # before I started this message...
Adelbert Benoni Keaton also buried at Crown Hill Cemetery; his memorial #45928678

Any questions, Please let me know!

James Daugherty
Hi Mary,
I have not forgotten about your questions. I just need a lot of time to really look at your questions and see what I can find. I am not as quick to find connections as I used to be.

I wondered if I could take over James Daugherty's (Julia A Caves Daugherty's husband) gravesite also? I would like to post his life story and some pictures if that is okay.

Julia Ann Caves Daugherty
Hi! I sent you a message about possibly taking over the memorial for for Julia Ann Caves Daugherty. Here is her memorial number: 33558515. Thanks. She is my grandmother's grandmother. I have been researching her family since I was 10, for almost 40 years.

My mother has a copy of a very old letter from a Loveall cousin that moved to Missouri. I'll try to remember to make a copy the next time I visit Southern Indiana. If you're interested, let me know.

Leavell/Loveall and Purcell
I just left a suggestion for an edit on William Franklin Purcell's memorial, then noticed you research the Loveall family as well. I also have Loveall ancestors - that's how the family pronounced it, but I found the spelling was actually Leavell further back, and may have originally been La Leavelle -sounds like "La-love-all" (from France).
My closest Leavell ancestor was Elizabeth (Leavell) McClure, daughter of Joseph Leavell.
Elizabeth m. 1.John McClure, then 2.Mark McClure, his younger brother. John and Mark's parents were Moses and Eleanor (McPherson) McClure. Mark and Elizabeth left Boone County, KY shortly after my gr-gr-grandfather, Charles William H. McClure was born in 1851. They lived in Algiers, Pike County, IN and are buried in the McClure family cemetery there.
If you haven't already searched through the information Jane Leavell has collected, you may like to browse her website,

Hi Mary!
I just noticed that you mentioned the reunion in JPB's history. It says the reunion is held the first weekend in August. Could you correct that to read "the first Sunday of the first FULL weekend in August? We lost someone a couple years ago who showed up the week before! They were from out of state. Are you going to the reunion this year? Haven't seen you there for a few years! Hope to see you!

RE: Short: Mary Anna Loveall Short family
Hi Mary,

I just saw I had a message from you dated Nov 2, 2014. My e-mail has changed and I did not realize I had forgotten to update my profile, that is why your e-mail to me bounced back. I have not been on find a grave for a while and so I did not see your message requesting I contact you until just now.

My profile now has the correct e-mail which is I will be happy to share what information I have on Mary Ann Loveall Short.

Aleda Huff Creel
I saw in the messages that obituaries may be provided if requested. I am Aleda Huff Creel, great grand daughter of James Absen Loveall and Lucy Shelton Loveall. I have been searching for the cause of death for years and am wondering if maybe the obits would provide that. I would very much appreciate any help. Thank you.

RE: LOVEALL, May Mary Waggoner
Hi - You are welcome!

I ran across this when doing research about the people buried at Mount Olive Cemetery in Lawrence County, Indiana. I am working on a book about all the people buried at Mount Olive.
