John Storm, Am Patriot. Greene Co, IN
I have never been to the cemetery, nor have I lived in that area. I would try contacting the public library there in Greene Co, IN and see if they have a cemetery book or listing. They may have a file for the Storm's in their genealogy dept, if they have one. Ask if there is a historical society that may provide assistance. The courthouse may have a copy of his will and probate which would list his heirs. You may also want to contact the Sons/Daughters of the American Revolution Chapter there, can usually find it through the Chamber of Commerce. Just call and begin. Since he & his daughter, many back great grandmother, were already proven on the DAR, I had only to go forward abt 7 generations to prove my lineage. Good Luck, Sincerely, Marsha Moon

RE: Hello, Cousin!
Sorry cuz,

I don't have any information on the Storm Cemetery in Hobbieville, IN. You might try contacting some of the contributors who have posted memorials and/or photos for this cemetery. They may be locals who'd have access to records that could help you.

Hope you're doing well,
Nancy (Folmar) Reykdal

No, I have not been to either of those gravesites. I presently live in Colorado.

Hello, Cousin!
Hi Armand,

We're 4th cousins, as your gg-grandmother, Sarah Lucinda (Miller) McCrary, was the younger sister of my gg-grandmother, Tabitha Ann (Miller) Rodgers.

I just ran across your memorial for your Dad, and thought I'd say hello. I've been doing genealogy for many years now, and if you'd like to share info regarding our mutual ancestors feel free to email me directly at npreykdal@gmail.com.

Best regards,
Nancy (Folmar) Reykdal

I photographed every headstone in Storm Cemetery, so if I didn't get it, it either wasn't there any longer or it was unreadable. The cemetery is located on the west side of
CR 1320 E, 1 mile north of Hobbieville. It is on the Vaught farm, just north of their home. They are lovely people. You'll have to park by their house and walk to the cemetery.

RE: Your Dad
Kenneth has already removed his--when we get back from Denver next Sun I'll find the obit and go on to Walter's posting and add it and then we can take off the duplicate info. Don't think he will mind--the reason I can do this is that I sometimes need to get onto memorials he has already done and add dates when I take the photo and we find the dates--he generally works from cemetery office info. Don't let me forget!!!

Your Dad
Kenneth Bogard wrote me about another matter and told me that he'd also deleted the duplicate memorial on your Dad. He felt yours should be the "standing" one. The obit that you liked can probably be found in the Amarillo Globe.
