I am a 76 year old retiree and live in Pipestone, Minnesota. I was in the retail lumber industry for 35 years. I became interested in genealogy 9 years ago. I currently maintain 8 family trees. The largest has 3041 names. The "find a grave" website is a great place to go to, to fine information on family members that have passed on. Some pictures of the memorials did not turn out so well, If more visible pictures are added by family, I would be happy to delete the less desirable pictures. My goal is to instill in the younger generation, the importance of knowing where their ancesters came from, provide some history to them and where they have been laid to rest. Please submit any additions,corrections, biographies,or family links to me under "EDIT" and "SUGGEST A CORRECTION" on the memorial site. |

RE: Memorial #47250536
Hello Mr. Everett:
I am inquiring about the memorial you have created for my maternal great grandmother, Margaret J. Dowd. Would you consider transfer of this memorial to my care?

I see you have created memorials for several of my family members. I was wondering if you could transfer them to me.

|Bryan Anderson||James Anderson|
I am researching my paternal grandfather's WWI army unit, Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. In this book, it mentions that a James Anderson was severely wounded on 11/5/1918, likely during the Meuse-Argonne Offensive.
I see from findagrave.com (Find A Grave Memorial# 46451899), the gravestone indicates this particular James Anderson served in the US Army. Do you know whether this James Anderson might have served in Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division?
Sometimes it doesn't hurt to ask. Sometimes I get lucky. Any information you might have would be very helpful.

I have sent in a correction for Edwin's parents. It is impossible that his listed parents are correct due to birth dates. I believe his parents are Josiah Willey and Mary Jones. I have not found Josiah's burial yet but I have found Mary.
Edwin Willey's memorial:
Thomas Edwin Willey (1885 - 1946)
Olive Mae Hickman Willey (1875 - 1951)

Sarah L Randall
The birth year is way off, but the actual day of birth is too coincidental that this is anybody else other than Sarah L (Bates) Randall, born 1869 and died in childbirth in Pipestone, MN in 1891 or 1892. She is the sister of my great grandfather, Vernon J Bates. Submitted by John R. McLane. See the following link: http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=hgsellin12&id=I20476
