PS
check your emails I sent you an invite to the full tree on ancestry since you can only see our direct line ancestors at FTDNA. When you get on the tree find John Berry McMillan b. 1700's and his wife Polly unk. All the Mcmillans I am working on descend from this line

McMillan
Your one of our DNA matches, I got some free time and was digging further on our McMillans in NC. I so far have one of them dying in PA (John McMillan) in the Civil War and it's possible he left some children up that way but I can't say for sure. John McMillan of Caldwell NC was 23 when he died in PA. I also have a few McMillans that wound up in VA. Was seeing if I could make some kind of connection with some McMillan cousins that wound up moving out of NC and possibly where your Edward McMillan wound up. Just thinking that even though your McMillan was born up north he came back to Lincoln NC and possibly because he had McMillan kin in the area. I have an Ed McMillan on my tree but his birth is 10 years after your Edward. Still digging to see if there could be more Ed's on the tree

Thanks for the additional information on Myra Goodson-Ballard. Her husband, Robert Bruce Ballard, was the brother of my great grandmother, Julia Eugenia Jemima Saunders-Ballard.
