 | Frederick Hartsel Hi my name is Sheila Hartsel. I am now considered our family historian, and have been searching out the family tree and documenting all as I go to secure this information for generations to come. I am working very hard to find where all realtives are buried and link them all thru Find A Grave. Frederick is the grt grand uncle of my husband Terry Hartsel. Frederick and my husband's Great Grandfather Frank Hartsel were brothers. Just about all of the Hartsel's grew up in or around Polk Ohio. I am documenting and linking all Hartsels in the Polk cemetery now and there are 31 of Frederick's relatives buried there. My goal is to maintain and provide detailed information etc on the memorials so anyone in the future has free access and can easily follow the family lines through the links. Thank you so much for considering transfering Frederick to me. Sincerely, Sheila Hartsel | | | Ken
 | Jesse N. Nicholas Has anyone taken a tombstone photo or found it yet? Jesse N. was born in 1869 and the father died in 1866.Added by Ken on Dec 03, 2012 9:42 AM | | | Shirley Reeve
 | Irma Spore I made the changes as requested. If you'd like me to transfer the memorial to you, I'd be glad to do so. Let me know.

 | Hello I just posted a photo of the gravestone for both Elizabeth Capen & William Spargo. JMC | | | Linda Jenkins Werts
 | RE: George B. Capen #88475217 Look at the photo for #56619313. It's not good quality - but I've seen the stone and it's definitely "Capen". The Metro records for Lone Fir show: Last name Capen First name Infant Death or burial date 8/18/1904 Cemetery Lone Fir Pioneer Cemetery Southeast 21st Avenue and Morrison Street Portland, Oregon Grave number 2N Lot 26 Section 21
This is the same lot for George, Eva, and Lucy Anna, and the only stone showing. | | | Linda Jenkins Werts
 | RE: George B. Capen #88475217 Baby Capen "born and died 1904" FG #56619313. Metro has her buried on August 18, 1904, but, of course, being Metro, there is no birth date. Her stone is the only one found in the lot where the other Capens are buried - and it doesn't look to me to be original. I've added Lucy Anna's information and linked her to her parents. | | | Linda Jenkins Werts
 | George B. Capen #88475217 I've added some information from Ancestry.com on George and Mrs. George (who I find is Eva Waddell). If they didn't marry until 1889, do you know who the Baby Capen d. 1883 is? And the Baby Capen b. and d. 1904 is not theirs, but they are all buried in Block 21 Lot 26 and only the 1904 baby has a marker. Nothing for George and Eva and the 1883 baby - not even the temporary cemetery ones.

 | Alice Grace Capen Thank you for the vitals. I posted these Capens for my nephews, whose mother is a Capen. I hadn't had a chance to update the posts yet so you info helped put me in gear!

 | Robert Capen No, I don't know if he's buried in NH near his wife. I usually take my chances that spouses are together, but am sometimes wrong. I've requested a photo, which usually let's me know if he's there. I've put a note on his memorial, so that if the photographer has problems finding his stone, then I will move him to FL. Thanks for letting me know. I just enjoy recording obits to this site, but sometimes it's hard to pinpoint details when I live in another state.
