I started looking for my family by accident about 13 years ago. I was in a World History class at Dalton State College and the teacher asked us ...as an assignment...to go home and trace back to our great grandparents. Well I got to thinking well who were there parents and so on and so on...I have traced back my tree on my Fathers side to the early 1700s and My Mothers side back into the 1600s...I am HOOKED and finding their graves...thanks to the support I have found on this website...is sooooooo helpful and brings closure as well....and then I turn around and pay it forward by helping someone else. :-)|

LOL.. sorry.. start with this.

This is what I got today:
The general problem they reported is:
Cemetery office has no record of this person
They also reported, specifically:
The office had no record of him...they wanted me to see if I could find out who might have bought the plot...could it be in someone elses name...or what does RL stand for...I live very close to this cemetery...
Do you have any idea where he is Deborah??

Thanks for trying to find William Harlan Hullender in Vernell cemetery. Sorry for delay in response. I've been without a computer for quite a while.
|sh||Varnell Cemetery - Hendersons|
I am trying to locate the grave of Charles Joseph Henderson (1848-1949), brother of Oliver Clifton Henderson (1870-1935), who is buried in Varnell Cemetery (you took the picture of his tombstone).
Charles also lived in Varnell. I suspect he is buried in Varnell Cemetery, he is not on Find a Grave, or any cemetery list I have seen.
Do you think Charles & his wife Clara could be buried there?

|FBryan||RE: Lennie hammontree|
Hi, Lisa... were you able to find any info about Lennie McCollum Hammontree's burial in Varnell from the church near the cemetery? Also, her son Charles Franklin "Frank" Hammontree (1903 - 1937) was supposedly also buried there. He was struck and killed by a train in Ooltewah, TN. His widow remarried, and she is buried with her 2nd husband. Can you find any record of this Frank (or Charles Franklin or Franklin Charles Hammontree) there? If not there, what about another cemetery in Varnell or Whitfied County, such as Whitfield Memorial Gardens? Thank you!
