Going forward, I will only transfer one's direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grand-parents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
AUNTS, UNCLES, and COUSINS are not required transfers.
BEFORE you request a transfer - have you considered using the Virtual Cemetery feature? It's an easy way to collect all of your ancestors either in one big VC or you can have several VCs for various family lines.

 | Re: Edwin Beck I'm glad we got that settled. On further research, I found that the Edwin Beck buried in Cowlitz View is not a son of Joseph & Jessie but rather the s/o William Taylor Beck & Ella Baker also buried in Cowlitz View, he was a twin. The Longview Library Obituary index has an obituary for him as Eddie Beck with the dates I have. I think I will go to the Library tomorrow & check the obituary to confirm for sure who his parents are. On Old Coweeman Cemetery, they discovered it when they built Allen Street East Kelso,WA in the early 1900's all burials that were found were moved to the Kelso IOOF now Cowlitz View. That isn't saying that all were moved just the ones probably in the path of the Street. The cemetery was never platted & no records of it were ever recorded & no map where it was located so there isn't any cemetery records & no maps proving it ever existed. After the discovery people called it the Old Coweeman Cemetery probably because there was a community east of Kelso called that. I don't think there were a whole lot of burials. The ones that I have found when photographing Cowlitz View were very old ones. The little community of Coweeman only had a post office from 1877-1882. I have lived in the Longview/Kelso area my entire life & thought I would give you a little history of the area. Looking at the censuses both federal & state I have not come across a John & Jessie Beck in this area though, they may have only briefly lived in this area in between censuses years. It also is possible that the Edwin Beck you had with no dates was buried in this defunct cemetery & was never found. I will let you know what I find at the Library. | | | Karen Reeder-Peel

 | Lewis E. Glover # 49771853 There is a photo request for Lewis E. Glover # 49771853 at White Pigeon Township, Michigan's cemetery. The office there has no record of Lewis being buried there. They do have records of Abigail, Wilbur and William Glover. I did not look for the 3 listed Glovers to see if Wilbur's stone was nearby.

 | 11402536 James Manion Hello, May we please use the information you posted on Find A Grave in our family tree? It truly rounds out the picture of this branch of the family. James' first wife would have been my 2nd Great Grand Aunt, and the husband of his second wife was her brother, which would make him my GG Uncle. It's fun. Thanks for much for considering it and YES we would gladly cite you and Find A Grave as our source. Thanks. S | | | | [View all messages...] |
