| RE: Eugene Phipps I hope so too! For years I was out of touch with my Broberg cousins until I found them on Facebook (which surprised me because they are all older than me). It might be worth a shot to check there.
I hope you can connect with your cousins!

| RE: Eugene Phipps I am delighted that my photos have been able to help you! I have been keeping my eyes peeled for the Phipps name and am pleased to tell you that every single Phipps that has a memorial on Find-A-Grave now has a headstone photo.
Happy Hunting!! | |

| RE: Eugene Phipps Someday is sooner than you think. I am going out to Lindenwood tomorrow after work to get this photo. I was so delighted to find this out for you at the office today!! I didn't get the photo today because I was working in Section 6 and my husband got cold and wanted to go home when we were done there. | |

| Eugene Phipps Eugene was disinterred from Lindenwood Cemetery Section 26 ext, lot 4, space B and moved to the same plot as Augusta Nahrwold Mueller & Louise Nahrwold Phipps, section 2, lot 193. I believe that Augusta's and Louise's graves are unmarked but the cemetery office staff did confirm that Eugene was moved there and that his grave is marked. | |

| More on Eugene I was tramping around Lindenwood Cemetery, section 13, today. This is a very poor section of the cemetery and is right next to section 26 extended, where Eugene was originally laid to rest. Section 26 is also a very poor section. Many of the graves in these sections are unmarked or have very small markers that have worn during the passage of time.
I didn't go to section 26 extended because there is a large and deep culvert between the two sections. When I go to the office next, I will follow up on Eugene.

| Moving Eugene Perhaps the family wanted Eugene's remains moved. I do know of situations where a person was interred far from where his/her family lived and that later, when the family could afford it, they would have the remains moved to a family cemetery. | |

| Eugene Phipps again My mistake, Eugene was interred at Section 26 Extended, Lot 4, Space B. Even though he was disinterred, I will still look at that location and see if there is a marker or not. Also, I will verify with the office as to Eugene's disinterrment. Perhaps that will yield the current location of Eugene's remains.
I'll do the best I can to find him for you.

| Eugene Phipps Dear Tanya W.
I used the Allen Co. Public Library's search engine for Lindenwood. http://www.genealogycenter.info/search_linden.php
It saves me time since I usually end up in the Lindenwood office for 2 hours at a time. I didn't create the memorial, a gentleman named Steve did. What it looks like based on the information that the search engine yielded is that Eugene was interred at Lindenwood in 1995 but disinterred in 1997. Perhaps Steve didn't know this when he created the memorial page. I do have others to photograph at the Bohn Chapel (where Eugene was interred) and I will look there to see if there is a plaque or some sort of marker still there.

| Fred Cantieri Hi Tanya. I see Fred Jorgensen has responded to your request. I also checked on Fred Cantieri at Chief Tecopa Cemetery. Couldn't find a marker of any kind, so I called the gal at the Pahrump Town Office who has the records. She told me that Fred is definitely there in the location you provided, but that no marker or headstone was ever purchased or placed. I took a photo of the grave, but all there is is just winter-browned grass. Let me know if you want the photo. Peggy Meek | |
