Mahala Highsmith
Thank you for looking for Mahala. She may have been buried elsewhere, or perhaps is buried without a stone.

I do thank you ever so much.

RE: Conover Cemetery

My e-mail is I am also trying to locate Mullins Cemetery. I believe it to be west of Conover Cemetery but no one seems to know where it is. William Mullins, the original settler, bought land on 1900N west of rd 1100E on both sides of the road (Lawrence County & Crawford County) and in the next section westside of 950E (Lawrence County side). Anyway William is buried in the cemetery so I am guessing that it is somewhere in that area, probably on his land. I am researching James K. Mullins who was a civil war vet and the last person buried there in 1917. Just wondering if you have ever heard of it?

Conover Cemetery
Hi Mark

I have tried to find Conover Cemetery and have rode all around that area but cannot find it. Can you give me directions to it? Thank you.

No I have not ran into any of the names you mentioned. My Bowen's are George and William, I'm sure I will probably hit your line eventually.
Most of mine so far are in the Clark and Jasper area with a few in Crawford so they are probably related somehow, probably not as close as they are to you though. I transfered Ralph, I am taking pictures of all Bowen's I see in cemeteries so if there are any others let me know.

I know I am researching Bowens but I don't think Golda and her husband are the same line. If they are it is no problem. Most of my Bowen are from the Hunt City area. I was wondering if you want her husband too. Please let me know if I have any others I would love to get them connected to family.

Golda Bowen
Mark I am not sure who her parents are, so if you could send me their numbers I would be happy to add them. Also if it is family of yours I am happy to make transfer to you, it would not be a problem.
